I could start by saying spectacular but I’ll rather place as unforgettable. We went there on a Saturday night and the place was pristine, well organised, clean, and overall spotless. We sat immediately and our waiter explained us the two menu options, one is meat based the other fish based. The whole table went for fish as the menu descriptions already let us wanting more. Out waiter first explained we could mix and match items from both menus which is great. I was really interested in the risotto from the meat menu, then chef came over our table and told me he would see about my request as he didnt think that would work for sequence of the tasting. However he found a way to fit that risotto not only for me, but, to our surprise to the whole table. It's now 2 days since we ate there and honestly I wont forget that risotto! Eating at Ora d'Aria was a pleasure, it was a magic experience in the world of tastes and excellent service. And just when I thought I saw everything we got our dessert and honestly it was to die for! The simplicity of the dish and the taste of heaven are memories I'll carry with me forever or until I manage to eat next at Ora d'Aria. This place was utterly calm and tranquil, the music was such a vibe for a restaurant and the toilets were incredibly spacious and clean. The place is right at the centre of town and yet manage to preserve a cosy and warm environment. If you are looking for honest tasteful flavours just book...

My girlfriend and I came here for our one year anniversary, something which I noted in our reservation details along with the fact that I don’t eat beef. None of my comments were ever mentioned or taken into account. We arrived and the mood was off, and we had to wait quite a few minutes standing in the entrance to be seated.
The bread was quite good. After that, all the food was quite unremarkable. The dishes all seemed very similar to one another, and parts were just frankly below the standard of what you’d expect from this price range.
The service was very friendly, and allowed us to switch one of the courses from the meat menu and the fish menu, but our waitress was incredibly difficult to understand, so we weren’t always sure what we were eating.
Besides the wine list which looked nice (but was shown to us on their website on an iPad) and 4 basic cocktails (gin and tonic etc) there were no fun other cocktails or nonalcoholic beverage options at all.
We were not offered a dessert wine for the last course, or a coffee or tea following the meal.
In general, we left the experience feeling like attention to detail was missing. The location was nicely central and convenient. Would sadly recommend steering clear of this...
Read moreA very unpleasant surprise; pretentious-not a Michelin star worthy restaurant.
After a kind welcome from the friendly hostess and the pleasant sommelier at this nicely decorated restaurant an evening of unbelief of lacking quality started and continued with every course during the whole dinner. On a culinary trip with 4 private and professionaly engaged wine and food enthousiasts this restaurant was the only very negative exception in presenting good taste, the worst gourmand experience for many years. In every course a striking disbalance in taste and harmony was presented, from lack of flavour to a very spicy peppery dish totally disguising the other ingredients and making the accompanying carefully chosen wines to a ludicrous dancepartner dancing on a different melody with earplugs in. An open kitchen offers a nice scenery and added value to a gourmand experience, but if half of the kitchen staff is not working at least a false impression is presented to the spectators. Surrounded by many many excellent restaurants with or without a Michelin star, our choice to rely on the Michelin rating proved to be unwise. Regretfully a truly unbelievable deception experienced in this "wannabee" restaurant not living up to its acclaimed 1...
