Panino Mondiale - Specialità Lampredotto — Restaurant in Florence

First time having a lampredotto and it absolutely blew my mind. Absolutely my favorite Italian food right now and I know I will never got to taste it like that again once I leave Florence. The cashier guy was super nice and cool, and the chef cook it right next to him and serve to you perfectly hot! The texture of the stomach was so tender and smelled so good, it contrasted so well with their bread, and seasoning was right on! And all that for 5 euro!! With perfect service. If you enjoy menudo or Asian stripe, you MUST visit this place as soon as you arrive in Florence, it’s right across the street from the train station. This unassuming sandwich shop is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. They were simple yet powerful and robust in flavor. It was so good my wife and I ordered a third sandwich. On another day we took a couple to go for breakfast the next day. Even when cold it was still a magnificent sandwich. The bread, meats, sauces, vegetables, spreads, etc were all fantastic. This place also had great wine and great service. The owners of the shop were very kind, attentive, and helpful. And for great quality food and service the price was extremely good! I was in Florence for 3 days. This food cart was rated highly, so naturally I wanted to try their food. Maps says that they are opened until 2am. I walked all the way here and tried getting food two times. Once at 1030pm, and once at 11pm on another day. Both times I was told "closed" or "cleaning". The sandwiches are all sitting right there and he could have easily sold me one. Instead he turned me away while he is litetally there and I'm looking right at the food. Very upsetting. Fix your hours...
