Ristorante Lo Spuntino — Restaurant in Florence

Wonderful! I had plans to eat at another place but was walking by with my kids and they were hungry then and there. I decided to stop by here and wait for my husband to join us. When he arrived and we ordered our mains we were blown away by how beautiful the food was. We ordered the ravioli with cottage cheese and spinach in truffle sauce, beans in olive oil and garlic and the grilled vegetables dish. I will add we are not vegetarians but we ordered these dishes because my husband wasn’t feeling well in his stomach and didn’t want meat. For a meat free dinner it was so satisfying! And the truffle sauce ravioli a must try! The kids loved their margarita pizza and the Aperol spritzes were also great! The waiter was also very friendly and helpful :) a great place to try. I will add a note for western tourists here as this is not my first time in Italy….sometimes the service in Italy is variable and can change from one day to the next. It’s not like Australia or America but…..if the food is good and the wait staff are friendly that is a good place and this restaurant...

Cozy place to have lunch very close to the Basilica dei Fiore. I had lunch with my family there. We tried "carne alla fiorentina' , a typical dish from there. It was great really. Tasty, cooked as we asked and served in time. The balance price-quality is very good. The ambiance was perfect. Music very low, air conditioner fresh...great. The service was perfect: Anastasia e Daniel were very kind. Daniel took his time to explained in detail our doubts about certain dishes. He spoke with us in Italian and Spanish. They were very kind and respectful with us. We accompanied the dishes with red wine from the Toscana. There are 2 option for the dish, for 2 people and the individual. The difference is that for 2 people does not include the dessert. The rest is the same. Obviously not the size of the dish. I strongly recommend this...

It wasn't extremely pricey and food was tasty, but customer service was really poor. We ordered three plates; two of which arrived late and the last one they finally brought to our table when all of the other courses had been finished. We had to ask them four times because my daughter almost hadn't eaten because her dish hadn't arrived whereas we were finished. They only replied with "in 10 minutes, in 10 minutes" and never came back. When the dish arrived (spaghetti carbonara) it was good, but definitely not worth the wait.
