A Terrible Experience Due to Rude Service

We randomly chose this restaurant, and it was a mistake we wish we could undo. The terrace was empty except for one table occupied by a young couple. There were no signs indicating that tables were reserved. My friend, child, and I took a seat at one of the available tables, waiting for a waiter.

When the waiter finally arrived, he began shouting at us in Italian, saying that the table was reserved. We assumed he meant that specific table, so we asked which table we should move to if the terrace was full, or if we should sit inside instead. But he continued to yell and curse, insisting that we leave immediately.

We tried to explain that there were no indications that the tables were reserved and that we had no way of knowing since there was no one outside the restaurant. He didn’t listen at all and kept shouting and swearing at us to get out.

Completely shocked by the rude behavior, we left and went to the restaurant across the street, which provided a much better experience. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Instead, I suggest trying the neighboring restaurant named Osteria Del...

I will provide some references for the “food” i ate while on a tour. The tour organiser, I assume, requested the food before our arrival to avoid the usual 20 minute wait for food.

When we arrived, there was absolutely no one there to greet us, the Atmosphere was close to nonexistent

The staff had an expression on their faces that showed no all hospitality and a lack of enthusiasm.

The food was Pasta for first course, Some sort of chicken with napolitana sauce and mozzarella and for desert i assume it was some cheap substitute for teramisu

I sadly have no photos of the pasta but the mince was closer to hell than well done and it lacked flavour.

The chicken thing was also closer to hell than over cooked, it had no flavour, the sauce was just dropped on top of it with a sad excuse of mozzarella over it, it gave me and my fellow guests a dump that lasted at least 2 hours on the toilet.

The tiramisu thing, was a disaster. It was a sponge cake with cream concoction. They SOAKED, is Soaked, the sponge cake in coffee that when you would bite into it it would leak...

I will let you make your own decisions based on the attached photos. I ordered the pesto lasagna. I had to return it. It was tasteless. After the waiter tried to convince me it was “the best lasagna” I asked for a simple spaghetti with meat sauce. Again… inedible and yes… looking at the picture… that’s how it was presented. It was quite literally thrown in the bowl. The salad? Well… I guess it’s a salad. The waiter had no interest in trying to make the situation better. We weren’t even offered drinks. I asked twice if we could order wine and was told I had to wait until all the food came out… then we never saw anyone until it was time to leave.

I’ve given this restaurant 3 chances. The first experiences two were even worse. I only went back because so many people keep telling me its great. It’s not. I felt the need to leave this review to save everyone the disappointment. Do yourself a favour and order takeout from McDonald’s. You will...
