This place exceeded my expectations especially with the proprietor Marco having helpfully explained all the wines on sale and available by the glass to help me pair with a nice sandwich. I settled for a chilled sparkling rose wine (it was very hot that day) which went really well with my Wild Boar and Truffle Pecorino panini that Marco toasted to perfection m. It was indulgent and a wonder of many passers-by that also got enticed to pop in when seeing me enjoying my meal outside of the eatery. The place is small and cosy as others have described, BUT you know they say "the best things in life come in small packages" - this place was one such gem! If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Despite the glowing reviews this place has, I encountered it on the walk back to my accommodations. It constantly had people lined up and eating outside. I finally gave it a try and it did not disappoint. Large portion sandwiches and incredibly delicious.

I had the Certaldo. The sandwich had spicy salami paired with spicy cheese and onion jam. The flavours of each ingredient amalgamated beautifully to my taste buds. 10/10
