Santa Cocktail Club — Restaurant in Florence

• Worst lifetime experience. *

When we first inquired at the entrance of the bar whether there were any available seats, the staff's attitude was very arrogant. We understand that everyone has different personalities, but such an attitude clearly indicated what kind of service we could expect next.

Indeed, when we asked if there were any outdoor seats available, the waiter/waitress told us that they were reserved by other guests (this was around midnight). While we could understand this, it turned out that the waiter/waitress had lied, as the next guests who arrived said they did not have a reservation. However, “probably” because they were Westerners(and with no skin color?), the waiter/waitress quickly arranged outdoor seating for them.

At that time, we had already been waiting at an indoor table for ten minutes, and the waiter/waitress either forgot about us or deliberately ignored us. Instead, it was the bartender who quickly came out and gave us the menu(on ipad) to take our order.

Honestly, the reason I'm leaving this comment is to defend everyone's rights. I saw other reviews mentioning that they were people of color and might have been avoided when arranging outdoor seats. It is truly sad that at this moment in 2024, such things still happen at this establishment, and it reflects poorly on the owner and staff.

During our one-month trip in Europe, this was the only bar/place that gave us such a deeply uncomfortable feeling. I urge the owner to seriously address this...

Questo bar è stato il momento clou dei miei numerosi viaggi a Firenze, non posso esprimere il calore dell'accoglienza e l'eccezionale qualità dell'artigianato messo in mostra da questo team. Io e il mio fidanzato siamo grandi estimatori dei cocktail artigianali e abbiamo trovato questo posto dopo essere rimasti delusi da un cocktail bar nelle vicinanze. Siamo stati accolti e seduti e ci è stato offerto un bellissimo menu di fantastici cocktail. Se hai una passione per l'arte delle bevande meravigliose, devi frequentare questo bar. Ogni bevanda è un capolavoro di pensiero e presentazione, nessun sapore o componente è fuori posto. Il personale è meraviglioso e premuroso e quando ho parlato con il barista e la direzione per esprimere la mia adorazione per le loro creazioni, ho ricevuto una risposta gentile da parte di tutti.

Questi artigiani sanno che il lavoro che fanno è buono e lasciano che le bevande parlino da sole. Ma parla anche con lo staff, perché sono informati e disposti ad assisterti e guidarti se sei nuovo nell'esplorazione di questa forma d'arte, così come se hai esperienza alla ricerca di una nuova entusiasmante creazione.

Abbiamo bevuto qualcosa prima di cena ed erano così meravigliosi che siamo tornati dopo cena per provarne altri e nuovi. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla nostra cameriera Bianca e ai barman della serata che si sono assicurati che ci prendessimo cura e ci divertissimo, tuttavia al personale aggiuntivo che lavorava che si assicurava costantemente che ci prendessimo cura di noi, e che il nostro tavolo fosse tenuto pulito e le nostre richieste fossero soddisfatte andrebbe anche lodato.

Non posso esprimere abbastanza quanto questo club debba essere nella tua lista del prossimo viaggio e, se sei del posto, fatti un favore e visita queste persone meravigliose.

This bar has been the highlight of one of my many trips to Firenze, I cannot express the warmth of reception and exceptional quality of craft put on display by this team. My fiance and I are great admirers of craft cocktails and we found this place after being disappointed by a nearby cocktail bar. We were greeted and seated and provided with a beautiful menu of amazing cocktails. If you have a passion for the craft of wonderful drinks you owe it to yourself to attend this bar. Each and every drink is a masterpiece of thought and presentation, no flavor or component is out of place. The staff are wonderful and thoughtful and when I spoke with the bartender and management to express my adoration for their creations I was met with a gracious response from everyone.

These artisans know the work they do is good, and let the drinks speak for themselves. But speak with the staff as well, for they are informed and willing to assist and guide you if you are new to exploring this artform, as well as if you are experienced looking for an exciting new creation.

We had drinks before a dinner, and they were so wonderful we went back after dinner to try more and new ones. A special thanks goes to our waitress Bianca and the mixologists of the night who made sure we were taken care of and entertained, however the many additional staff working who would constantly make sure we were taken care of, and our table kept clean and requests met should also be lauded.

Wow wow wow this place is simply amazing. It's stangely located in the centre of Florence, the most turistic part of the city but, as soon as you cross the door you'll fall in a completely different world, the atmosphere is intimate and glamorous at the same time, the view on Santa Maria Novella is breathtaking. The place as well as the menu has a strong personality. I chose one of their signature cocktail which was perfectly made by the barman.The service was faultless, everyting was perfect. Their prices are a bit high especially for cocktails but for the quality of it and the attention for every tiny detail (the ice in my drink was sculpted in order to set a small mint leaf) it is well worth it.
