If you’re craving authentic Indian food in Florence, Spice India is an absolute must-visit! Our experience here was nothing short of spectacular, and from the very first moment, we felt like we had stepped into a warm, welcoming home away from home.
The hospitality at Spice India is something truly special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, treating us with so much kindness and care that it felt like we were dining at a close friend’s place rather than a restaurant. Their warmth and attention to detail made the meal even more memorable.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because, oh, what a feast it was! We started with roasted papad, which was perfectly crisp and paired beautifully with the flavorful chutneys. The paneer chilli was absolutely divine—soft, fresh paneer enveloped in a perfectly spiced, tangy sauce that hit all the right notes. It was the ideal balance of heat and flavor, making it one of the best versions we’ve had.
Then came the highlight of our meal: the Biriyani. From the first whiff of its aromatic spices to the very last bite, it was pure perfection. The long-grain basmati rice was fragrant, each grain separate and infused with rich flavors, making every spoonful an absolute delight. The accompanying dahi raita was smooth, creamy, and the perfect cooling contrast to the biriyani’s spice. Together, they created a harmony of flavors that was simply unforgettable.
Beyond the incredible food, what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. The staff’s genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel like family. They checked in on us at just the right moments, making sure we were enjoying our meal without ever being intrusive. Their passion for good food and customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.

Read moreMy dining experience at Spice Indian Restaurant in Florence was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma of spices set the stage for an unforgettable meal.
We started with the Paneer Chilly, which was very good. The paneer was perfectly cooked, with a delightful mix of spices that danced on our taste buds. It was an excellent start to our culinary journey.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely bomb! The chicken was tender and flavorful, swimming in a rich, creamy sauce that had just the right amount of heat. This dish was a standout, and we could not get enough of it.
Next, we tried the Dal Makhni, and it was the best I’ve ever had. The lentils were cooked to perfection, and the creamy, buttery sauce was so delicious that I found myself eating it by itself. It was pure comfort in a bowl.
The Garlic Naan was the perfect accompaniment, soft and buttery with a generous amount of garlic. It was ideal for scooping up every bit of the delectable sauces.
To complement our meal, we had the Pistachio Lassi and Saffron Lassi. These lassis were the best we’ve ever had. The flavors were incredibly authentic, with the pistachio being wonderfully nutty and the saffron having a subtle yet distinctive taste. Both were refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. We were so impressed with the food that we almost licked the plates clean!
Overall, Spice Indian Restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The authentic flavors, great spice levels, and outstanding service made for an exceptional dining experience. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian meal in...
Read moreVisiting from Los Angeles California we had been in London, France, and now Italy for 3 weeks. We had dined at Deshoom in London per multiple recommendations as well as a local resident. After having way too much Italian food we needed some Asian cuisine and found Spice India off a foodie review blog. Thanks krona food is top 3 cuisine by type for us. Upon entering Spice India we were greeted with a smile from Komal at the front reception desk. We came to find out Komal is one of the family that owns this restaurant. This restaurant is spotless and very clean. Almost all of the guests are Asian or Indian so you know they are very particular about their food. We ordered Palak Pakora and Vegetable Samosa for appetizer and then Aloo Gobi, Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken Tiki Masala (CTM), garlic Naan, and white rice. They start off with an amazing yogurt, spicy pickled vegetable dish, and wonton chips to snack on. When the food came out we were very impressed at how fresh and hot the food was. The kitchen served us as the food was prepared and ready so we didn’t feel rushed to eat fast. The food quality, taste, and portion sizes were 10/10. We loved every bite and couldn’t even finish the food even though we wanted to eat every last bite. If this restaurant were in Los Angeles California we would eat here weekly if not bi weekly. How can you communicate how special a place is with so few words? It’s like seeing the Pisa and how impressive this structure is in person, what they say is pictures does not do it justice. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking Indian cuisine. LOVE LOVE LOVE Spice Indian!! Plan to come back before we leave for...
