Bit of a conflicting experience, fantastic food but awful service, with a complete lack of coordination or communication.
We went for dinner, and struggled to order as the music was a bit too loud and I happen to have a bit of hearing damage, on top of this the waitress didn't seem to make much effort to communicate with us. (More of a personal quirk but if loud places annoy you perhaps it matters to you.)
We ordered relatively quick, but for some reason my mom received her food instantly, while the rest of us didn't get anything. 15 minutes go by and as my mother finishes her dish we contact the server again and ask about the lack of coordination from the kitchen. They proceed to walk into the kitchen and walk out with the other 3 plates instantly.
After finishing the main dishes, we decided to try the cocktails as their dessert menu was apparently completely out of stock and managed to order them after waiting over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table.
We waited for over 20 minutes more after this with no apparent signs of life and once more, the second we complain to a server, we receive our drinks not a minute later.
The food and the cocktails themselves were fantastic and the quality of their kitchen is remarkable, but their service is atrocious, and it lacks any coordination between the servers and the kitchen.
Overall we spent over 90+ minutes to have 4 main dishes and 3 cocktails. Make of all this what you want but for 25+ euro per person I don't think it is good enough. They really need to work on their...
Read moreThis is by far the worst place I’ve ever been to in Florence. had been a loyal customer since 2012 and have given it many chances as it’s one of the only Mexican places in Florence. Not only have they reduced their portions way smaller for the same or higher price than before but the service is always awful.
As Mexican expats we decided to celebrate Mexican Independence Day at this establishment. We requested if they could play Mexican music (mainly because it was an important Mexican holiday and they refused, stating the owner didn’t want to). I’m continuously baffled at how this establishments service has declined over the past few days.
The cherry on top today: when we wanted to ask the waitress a simple question about the bill she rudely replied: “look, I’ve just clocked out bye”.
In dire times like this, especially in a city where everyone has been hit with lower tourism and decline in customers I URGE YOU TO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A PLACE THAT APPROPRIATES MEXICAN CULTURE ONLY WHEN BENEFICIAL TO THEM AND EMPLOYS PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO THINK TREATING A CUSTOMER BADLY IS OK.
I will personally never return to this restaurant and I will make sure to give a bad review every single person who asks me about it. Places like this should not exist. The customer should always...

After days of eating pasta and pizza (which are amazing, of course!), I was craving something different — and this Mexican restaurant absolutely blew me away. As a Mexican myself, I can confidently say this is the real deal. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and an atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home.
The food was incredibly delicious — every bite was packed with flavor, and the dishes came out beautifully plated and full of food (no tiny portions here!). The drinks? Outstanding. Their cocktails were refreshing, creative, and strong — the perfect combo.
The staff is warm, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond. The service was top-notch, super friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
And let’s talk about the ambience — it’s a gorgeous, fresh space filled with lush plants, vibrant decor, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. It’s the perfect spot for anyone visiting Florence who’s feeling a bit over Italian food (it happens!) and wants to try something different and incredibly satisfying.
Highly, highly recommend. This place is a must-visit if you’re in Florence and want to experience Mexican food done right with options for some Tex-Mex...
