We were excited to dine here after seeing it recommended in various publications, but, unfortunately, we did not have a good experience.
We ordered the mixed antipasti platter and explained that we are vegetarians. We were told that was no problem. On tasting it was clear that one of the antipasti contained fish. We explained again that we are vegetarians and were told that 'in Italy vegetarians eat fish'... As well as being an inappropriate way to deal with a customer, this is simply untrue.
When our primi arrived, I was served a pasta that I did not order. When I raised the issue with the waiter he looked surprised, then told me that the one I had ordered had sold out. If this was true, it should have been explained to me before serving me an alternative that I did not choose. Later, a neighbouring table was served the pasta dish that I had originally ordered, suggesting that it had not, in fact, sold out...

The restaurant is impeccable in every detail. The service was spot-on: our waiter was both warm and highly professional, offering exactly the right amount of information—no more, no less. Every dish we ordered was simply incredible, both in flavor and presentation, and the complimentary tastings they offered were equally delightful.
The entire dining experience crowned an already extraordinary day in this unique city, ending it on the perfect note. Prices were more than fair—in fact, I’d say they were on the low side for the quality we received.
