service were extremely bad, staffs saw me walking in, they ignored and continue chitchatting. Both myself and the table next to me are visitors, we both have to asked for a plate and the olive oil for the bread multiple times, it came 10mins later, i haven’tu get to enjoy and bread, my main arrives. not to forget, just to order, I have to wait for a good 10mins too. this place full of mosquitoes outdoor, they did nothing about it. the manager rather chitchat with strangers, also don’t want to take my order. food was good but the customer service and ambience just wasn’t.
To reply to the responses from the restaurant: First of all, there wasn't any "kindly offered", I paid extra 5euro for the oil and 3euro for the bread. both the manager and the staff who served my table showed face when I asked for the olive oil, and you guys just drop the bottle of oil without giving me any plates or saucer, when the other table with full of italian locals, they only need to ask once and the plates was served together with the oil without a need to ask.
You guys are 5 stars restaurant, you dont need a customer to teach you how to serve a plate for the olive oil for the bread that costs 8euro in total.
It is all because the work attitude are so bad, you don't care when a customer walking in to the restaurant and continue chitchatting, serving the oil for the bread only asking after 3 times until the table next to me told me: "we asked for 2 times also, nobody get back to us, the table full of locals only asked once and they received it immediately."
I understand sometimes when its crowded, service can be slow, and i understand people do make mistake, but they're clearly not mistakes, it was the bad work attitude, you guys did it on purpose, hence i know i have to give it a two stars as I do not wish another foreign customers who are on holiday experience what I have experienced and ruin their...

Food Highlights Lasagna – A hearty slice of lasagna that feels like comfort on a plate. The layers are rich, with a generous portion of meat and cheese. Perfectly browned on top, it’s a great choice for those wanting a traditional Italian experience. Cotoletta alla Milanese – This was a standout! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, it’s well-seasoned and pairs beautifully with the roasted potatoes on the side. A must-try if you’re after authentic Milanese flavors. Spaghetti with Cherry Tomatoes and Mozzarella – A lighter, refreshing option for pasta lovers. The cherry tomatoes bring a burst of sweetness, balanced by creamy mozzarella and fresh basil. Ideal if you want something tasty without being overly filling. Dessert – The Crème brûlée was a lovely way to end the meal. The caramelized top was perfectly done, adding just the right amount of sweetness.

Read moreOn a recent trip to Milan we were looking for a restaurant easy walking distance from the duomo that had typical Milanese cuisine. This restaurant checked those boxes and the reviews that we scanned looked good. In reality this was the WORST reataurant experience I have ever had and strongly recommend not visiting this establishment if you are a tourist….tourists do not seem to be welcome! From the time we entered the restaurant we were treated with disdain and if the service was bad but the food had been good I could have overlooked the treatment. I can understand acting like prima donnas if you are that good…but they aren’t! I have owned a reataurant so this review is not just someone ranting, I actually know a bit about food and service. 5 pieces of bread were provided (as part of the cover charge) for 5 people. The bread was not fresh. I had to ask for olive oil and balsamic for the bread and it was as if I was asking for gold. We all had the misfortune of ordering the veal milanese and risotto milanese, because when in Milan order Milanese, right? Wrong! The veal was tough and had little flavor. The risotto was beyond al dente and totally tasteless. I never add salt and pepper to my food at the table as I expect the chef has properly seasoned the dish. At this reataurant I asked for Parmesan, which met with a death stare, and pepper….but even that could not save the risotto. The only dish that I would rate highly was the prosciutto melon appetizer…the portion was very generous and the melon was tasty and the prosciutto was very good. Overall this was one of our most expensive meals in Italy and it was totally...
