Cioccolatitaliani — Restaurant in Milan

My visit was completely ruined by multiple instances of extremely unprofessional and disrespectful service, indicating a serious issue with staff culture.

I purchased a gelato cone and sat at an outdoor table with my mother. A waiter named Dario came over and told me, in a very impolite and demanding manner, that I was not allowed to eat the cone at the seating area, as tables were only for menu orders.

While preparing to leave, the waiter's behavior worsened significantly. As he walked away, he went straight to a colleague and began visibly making gestures with his hands next to his head, clearly suggesting that I was 'crazy' or 'foolish.'

This was humiliating and completely unacceptable behavior directed at a paying customer.

The most disappointing part came when I decided to report the incident. I spoke with the manager about Dario's public rudeness and mocking behavior. Instead of apologizing or addressing the issue, the manager was equally dismissive and disrespectful. He simply stated that his colleague, Dario, 'did not mean it' and essentially refused to take my complaint seriously.

When both the waiter and the manager treat a customer so poorly, it shows a fundamental lack of respect for patrons. I will not be returning to an establishment where staff publicly mock customers and management completely dismisses valid...

This was one of the best café visits I've ever had! We stopped by for some ice cream, coffee, and cake — and everything was absolutely delicious. The ice cream was creamy and full of flavor, the coffee was perfectly brewed and aromatic, and the cake tasted like it came straight from a top-tier homemade bakery.

But what truly made this visit unforgettable was the incredible staff. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and spontaneously asked if they could help us with a little surprise — and their response blew us away! Not only did they agree, but they got genuinely excited and involved. They helped light the candles, brought the dessert with the candles to our table, and even sang Happy Birthday with us! 🎂🎉🎶

It was such a warm and heartfelt gesture that turned an already lovely day into something truly magical. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile are rare and deeply appreciated.

The Best Gelato in Milan – No Exaggeration! 🇮🇹

If you’re in Milan and looking for a dessert that’s both unique and unforgettable, Cioccolat Italiani is an absolute must!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the heavenly smell of real chocolate and freshly made waffle cones — it’s pure magic.

I tried the pistachio and dark chocolate combo, served in a cup with a layer of warm melted chocolate at the bottom. Honestly, it’s one of the best gelatos I’ve ever had. The texture was so smooth and creamy, with a rich and perfectly balanced flavor — not too sweet, not bland, just right.

The presentation is also amazing: beautiful scoops, silky chocolate sauce on top, garnished with nuts or fruits… absolutely Instagram-worthy! 📸

It can get a little crowded, especially in the evenings, but trust me — it’s totally worth it. The staff was kind and patient, and even let me taste a few flavors before ordering.
