Antica Trattoria Salutati — Restaurant in Milan

We found this place while looking for a more authentic and less touristic experience. And it was great! The restaurant has a nice and atmosphere and was full with locals. My wife had a Risotto alla Milanese and I had pasta with pumpkin filling. Both our dishes tasted very good. The pasta was by far one of the best I had eaten in a long time and the Risotto lacked just a tiny bit of salt (maybe to our taste). I had then, as our main course, the Cotoletta and my wife ordered a Tartar. The Tartar was fresh and prepared in front of us and tasted very good. I wanted to try the Cotoletta again because I had not eaten a very good one before and I was glad to repeat because it was great. We did not have any desserts because we had enough already but we saw in other tables and they seemed very tasty. This was a very nice surprise in our last dinner in Milan and I gladly recommend this restaurant. We spent about 60€ and felt that it was a great value. Questi sanno il fatto loro! Ok, si un attimo di attesa fuori, prima di potersi accomodare rispetto l'orario della prenotazione, ma il giusto...ben prima del momento di spazientirsi. E poi tutto il meglio che mai ci possa essere per una trattoria di livello. Attenzione, simpatia, pragmaticità, saggia tempistica...e soprattutto genuinità e bontà. Quando chi viene al tavolo per l'ordinazione...per altro il titolare, ti suggerisce di prendere una cosa in meno ...o meglio una mezza porzione "giusto per assaggiarlo", quando chi apparecchia poggia il coltello sul tavolo dal verso sbagliato e corregge il tiro con prontezza educata, quando con la coda dell'occhio si accorgono che stai per pulire il midollo dell'osso buco e ti porgono un cucchiaino per facilitarti il compito...SEI NEL POSTO GIUSTO! Se poi garbatamente, senza spocchia, ti indicano anche un vino più corretto rispetto a quello al quale avevi pensato...chapeau. Trattoria eeeh, bella schietta, quasi apparentemente caotica nell'organizzazione...che fa colore... ma che in realtà ha le redini ferramenta strette nelle mani di tutto il gruppo di lavoro. Risotto alla Milanese con osso buco ...magistrale! Cotoletta a orecchia di elefante ...ineccepibile! Arrivati si aveva molta fame...e ci si è lanciati anche nel prendere un antipastino misto per spezzare subito...che a dirla tutta poteva essere presentato un anticchia meglio...o costare 2 lire di meno...ma senza nulla togliere...tutti prodotti buoni, freschi e tradizionali. È giusto che dietro al pass ci siano proposte così da servire tempestivamente. Sicuramente anche i dolci sarebbero stati ottimi, ma ce la si è fatta ad assaggiarli. Conto corretto!!
