( update) In Sep we went again since it’s in neighborhood, the reason we didn’t like to go often because it’s taking so much time to wait for no reason. Then it happened again that you can’t order from the cassa, you have to wait for the person to take your order if you sit inside or outside.

And it takes forever to come this person to make an order, we have waited for 20 mins then we decided to leave because it’s always like this. It’s not the first we waited. So it seemed the service is not improved, it’s a pity. I wonder maybe this place is only for people like to spend two hours of time just to eat breakfast 😂

I went there several times already, like the place but the problem is the service quality is unstable.

Sometimes I have to waited so long to get attention or to get my order to arrive, even when to pay I have to wait for at least ten mins

If they could improve this, it will def be one of my fav bar to go...

I went there this morning because it was close to my hotel, there was a guy he was very nice and misunderstood my flat white order as hot milk which is completely okay as I ordered in English but then the lady who was serving just poured tiny bit left over of espresso from a previous order to a whole glass of milk and served me, I couldn’t say anything as I didn’t want to cause problem to the kind male staff but I doubt that lady would have served that horrible glass of milk with little left over coffee to a local. Locale molto vicino al distretto dello shopping di Corso Vercelli, con un’ampia zona con i tavoli, un dehor esterno, un bel bancone e una zona per il pane, le focacce e pizze. Con la bella stagione lo spazio esterno sulla piccola piazza si amplia con altri tavolini e sedie, molto carino. Cibo per il pranzo e panetteria di buona qualità, con l’attenzione a proporre sempre qualcosa di non banale e sfizioso. Prezzi adeguati alla zona, anzi, leggermente più bassi se si scelgono i piatti del giorno primo/secondo. Un primo 9,50 è onesto. La pizza al trancio è buona ed il prezzo uguale ai locali più noti in città. Questo era un bar tabacchi storico, completamente ristrutturato con gusto e ben frequentato, tanto che in certi orari è difficile trovare posto. Ma Corso Vercelli attira moltissime persone e in zona ci sono molti uffici e studi professionali. Io ci sono stato più volte, sempre a pranzo, il personale è giovane e molto gentile, efficiente, veloce nel servizio ed educato. Addirittura l’ultima volta, pochi giorni fa, nel pieno delle feste, ho atteso 15 minuti perchè si liberasse un tavolo, solo all’esterno nel dehor. Niente di strano, come ho scritto prima. Il personale ci ha tenuto a scusarsi, senza nessuna mia protesta, inoltre mi hanno fatto pagare la pizza e bibita 1€ per rimediare al disturbo. Eccezionale a Milano !
