FEDERICO Pizza dal 1929 - Milano — Restaurant in Milan

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. It was simply the worst restaurant I had ever seen in Italy. I don't think any Italian restaurant with self respect would cook pizza in electric oven or offer ketchup instead of real tomate souce. This place does both. And I think using fire wood for decoration while you use electric ovens is dishonest.

Taste of the dough was just terrible. The amount of cheese on the pizza was insufficient. The tomato souce was tasteless. Everything was just bad.

On top of everything, the black wooden plates they use for serving the pizzas smell terribly bad. So bad that after 15 minutes on one of them, your pizza also starts to smell really disgusting. This is not pizza, this is 60cm...

We were too tired to sit down for a proper meal in a restaurant after walking through Milano for the last three days and decided to have two pizzas for takeaway and eat them in our hotel room and we are glad we did!

Good vibes and consistently good pizzas. The staff is always warm and friendly. The Pepper pizza is tasty and just the right amount of spice. The salads are decent portions with a quality mix of fresh greens. If you are in the neighborhood you will be glad you chose it. And they are pet (dog) friendly! We definitely will be stopping...
