Maia Bistrot Ristorante is a small, quaint gem tucked away in Milan—a true hidden treasure. I absolutely adore this place and make it a point to visit whenever I can, sometimes as often as three times a week. The spare ribs are my favorite, cooked to perfection with a rich, flavorful glaze, and the pasta with mussels is equally divine. The service is friendly and attentive, though understandably bustling due to the intimate size of the restaurant. Despite its small scale, Maia Bistrot has quickly become my go-to spot in Milan, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every meal feel special. Without a doubt, it’s my top choice whenever I'm in the city. Saluti

Despite it being so close to the main tourist area this place seems to have been missed by most international visitors, luckily for us. It’s a small restaurant and they are not open all day, but we found a table by chance. Been here few times and we have never been dissatisfied. It’s amazing. Not sure if they do reservations but if they did then it would be worthwhile doing. Service is great and they speak English, menu is short but exciting. They even do grapefruit juicy (unless I’m mistaken). I cannot recommend this place enough, the food is packed with flavours and made with love

Gross experience. Italians who can’t make a decent pasta al pomodoro are a sin. Gross tartare - minced mediocre meat with no flavour, not seasoned at all, served with grilled vegetables that were cold from the fridge and some leaves. The cesar salad was just iceberg leaves served with dressing from a jar for EUR10. The risotto was like rice with milk. Awful.

A Hidden Gem Near the Duomo

This charming restaurant, tucked away on a quiet street near the Duomo, is an absolute gem! Being slightly off the beaten path means it’s wonderfully peaceful and not crowded, offering a relaxing dining experience right in the heart of the city.

We tried the risotto, cutlet, and tortiglioni, and every dish was a delight. The risotto, in particular, was outstanding – perfectly creamy and bursting with flavor. To end the meal, we indulged in their tiramisu, which was a true highlight. While the portion wasn’t huge, the taste was phenomenal, and I highly recommend trying it.

The cappuccino was also excellent, rounding off the meal beautifully. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

With reasonable prices and such delicious food, this restaurant is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a quiet and delightful meal near the Duomo. Highly...

Some staff were quite friendly but not all, the Milanese risotto with veal was nice , however the pasta carbonara was tooooo salty that I really couldn’t eat. When I was reading the drink menu , one staff pointed at the milk and coffee (2 euro) and told me it was larger than cappuccino, so I ordered one, finally and they charged me 3.5 euro. The staff explained that was a big glass, but none of the coffee on the menu cost more than 2 euro. there’s no such a big glass of coffee that costs 3.5 euro on the menu, I was really mad, that is deceiving customers!! If the large cup of coffee is more expensive than the one written on the menu, the staff should...
