We were nicely welcomed, but this was the only thing which was excellent in matters of service. First of all I must state that food and drinks were absolutely great and very tasty. But: a couple sat down about 5 minutes after us right next to us. The service-guys were dancing around them as if they were ViPs paying triple prices ;-). Their table was fully dressed in 3 Minutes and wine was served while we haven’t even seen a menu. This was inexcuseable! We ordered fried mixed seafruits containing prawns. The prawns have been simply completely forgotten by the cook, and only the attention of my wife brought up the issue. Pretty fast the missing was delivered in very fresh and tasty condition. But do not believe that anyone of the crew found it necessary to offer a small compensation, e.g. in the form of a limoncello at the end… Nothing! So here my message to the service: you guys have a great basis: a excellent cook and a very nice location, but you gotta do much more, otherwise it’s just a pity…there is a big lack in beeing organized.( and there were lots of empty tables, so...
Read moreI had lunch at this restaurant with my kids yesterday. The service staff appeared to be very friendly and charming. He convinced me to order the "catch of the day" at 9 Euros per 100g. I wasn't cautious enough to ask how heavy it was. My kids ordered fried seafood (20 Euros) and a pasta with meatball (18 Euros).
The food itself was good, although the meatball pasta and the noodles go with the fish were too salty. "Catch of the day" sea bass was really fresh. The waiter also offered some homemade bread which was crispy and tasty. I enjoyed the food. But what happened next was not enjoyable at all.
When the bill came, I was shocked that the fish cost more than 90 Euros. I complained that the fish was not more than one kg. Then they reduced it to 600 g, but I denied it again. Finally I paid 100 Euros for the whole meal. Besides the three dishes I mentioned above, we only ordered a bottle of mineral water.

The problem is their sales tactics: It all starts with the leaflet handler at the entrance to peninsula. I get that their are located at the far end, so this way to attract clients is ok, and might be necessary considering their low rating When we just sat, even before we’ve got a chance to check out menus, they immediately tried to convince us to get a €100 EUR dish for two, and it took some effort to say no to them, they were persistent Upon getting a check I realized that they add a 10% service charge on top.
