Lux Cafè Napoli — Restaurant in Naples

What a disappointment. We ordered one pizza, and it was ok, and considering we are in Naples, we expected better. I made the mistake of ordering seafood pasta, which was not only bad, but the seafood had a smell and an off taste. I ate the spaghetti, only leaving all the gone off seafood on the plate. Even after seeing i didn't eat my food, the waiter asked us to give a tip!! I have never had a waiter actually ask customers to pay a tip before - i found this quite rude and unexpected. The person that said this was the best italian restaurant they have ever been to obviously does not know what good Italian food is and in fact does not know what good food is or they are a friend of the restaurant and it's a false review. Do yourself a big favour and go somewhere else. We have been here 5 days so far and this is the only bad food experience...

They charge the table/bar price for takeaway orders :(

The server was “friendly” until I mentioned the issue with the price. Her demeanour immediately turned cold and she wouldn’t even look at me until I left the cafe. It was unexpected and childish.

It’s weird to advertise one price but charge another price. They literally have a huge sign that says “PRICES ADVERTISED ARE FOR TABLE/BAR SERVICE.”

It’s a shame because the sfogliatella was tasty but it’s not worth...

Lovely cafe ... After our visit to Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta....decided to stop in the Lux Cafe for a quick bite to eat. (4 min walk from Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta.) Ordered a pizza between two people ...... it was absolutely scrumptious ....... one of the best pizzas I had during my stay in Napoli! Would definitely recommend. (Also had a Moroccan Coffee...delizioso!!) Great area of "Museum Naploi"...with Napoli Piazza Cavour Metro station only 5...
