In response to the owner:

I visited your restaurant on 29.08.2025 at around 8:00 PM and paid 54.5 euros. To avoid any misunderstanding, I am attaching proof of payment from my credit card.

Your response only proves exactly what I wrote in my review – ignoring and disrespecting the customer, and then trying to deny I was ever in your restaurant. That is simply pathetic.

What i originally written -

Beware – a tourist trap.

I’ll start by saying that during our 21-day trip in Italy, we enjoyed some of the best pastas, pizzas, and gnocchi we’ve ever had – especially in Naples. Unfortunately, we also stumbled upon this restaurant, which turned out to be a very unpleasant and disappointing experience.

Throughout our stay in Naples, we ordered the same dishes at several different restaurants, and they were all excellent – until we came here. From the beginning, there was no English service, and it was very difficult to communicate with the waiters.

We ordered Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, which was completely bland – overcooked gnocchi with a tasteless sauce. We also ordered O’ Ragu’, which came with a tiny portion of meat, part of it cold and part clearly reheated in a microwave. The pasta even had a strong soapy aftertaste. I tried to return the dish, but since the waiter didn’t understand English, he thought I was asking for another one. Only after insisting did he finally take it back to the kitchen.

At the same time, we had also ordered two Margherita pizzas, which were decent – but since the other dishes were inedible, the whole family ended up sharing only those pizzas.

The worst part came when we asked for the bill. To our shock, they charged us for the O’ Ragu’ that we had sent back to the kitchen. When we asked for an explanation, we were referred to the manager at the register, who pretended not to understand English and insisted we pay for all the dishes. He even fanned himself with a handheld fan while dismissing us. Since we were tourists, unable to properly communicate with him and not wanting to cause problems, we had no choice but to pay against our will and leave.

We walked out of the restaurant frustrated, disappointed, and still hungry.

My advice: stay away...

Serious Safety Concern – Glass Fragment Found in Drink On August 12, 2025, my family and I visited Na Bona Furchetta in Piazza Carolina, Naples, for dinner. Unfortunately, we had a very concerning experience. My daughter ordered a freshly made orange juice. While finishing her drink, she felt something unusual in her mouth and removed what turned out to be a small piece of glass. The glass it was served in was intact, so the source of the fragment was unclear. We immediately checked her mouth for cuts and thankfully found none, but we remain concerned that she may have swallowed a small fragment. We reported the incident to the restaurant manager, who apologized but stated he did not believe the glass came from the juice. He removed the cost of the juice and a coffee from the bill but appeared to downplay the seriousness of what happened. This was a distressing situation for our family, and we believe it poses a genuine public health risk. We are closely monitoring our daughter’s health and have reported the matter to the local health authorities. I am sharing this review so that others are aware and so the restaurant takes additional measures to ensure such incidents cannot...

EDIT: You can read the owner reply to see how arrogant and out of touch they are.

ORIGINAL: Our experience here was not good. Which is rare on our trip to Naples and Amalfi Coast.

I asked the waiter which pasta he recommends as the best the chef makes. He recommends the "catch of the day" pasta (most expensive at 25EUR). I ask him what is in there, whether mussels, because I do not want mussels. He says it's the fish of the day. The pasta comes, half is mussels and the other half is 1/2 of lobster. I eat only the pasta and lobster. During payment I find out final price is 35EUR (just for this dish), because the price is variable based on the ingredients. I understand the concept, but we were not informed of this beforehand.

So to sum up, we got recommended something that wasn't even that good, the ingredient I asked for not to be included was included and the price ended up to be different than expected, which is wrong...

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay. Our first experience was great, we ordered pizza and some appetizers which were reasonably priced. Because of this we decided to return on our last day but unfortunately it ended up spoiling our mood. We were recommended a pasta dish with fish and mussels but were never informed of the price despite asking. To our surprise the bill for two people came to €80 making it the most expensive dinner of our 8 day trip and not even close to the best we've had in terms of taste. We would have been happier with a simple pasta dish or pizza from the menu. The dish in the last photo cost €70 and while there’s a service charge of €2 PER PERSON the staff mentioned that the tip is not included so you can leave it on the table if you wish. It left us disappointed with our last meal in Italy especially given the high price for a dish that didn’t meet our expectations, definitely not worth the price.

Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience here. We were a group of 7 people and we already had made a reservation to eat at 21 o'clock. We were kept outside of the restaurant for 45 minutes before we finally were let in! Every time we asked when will we get a table we were told in 5 minutes, but it took forever. We were finally by our table. We ordered the food. Two people had ordered pizza. They received their food after 1 hour 15 minutes!!!! The annoying part was that the rest of the team had already their food 20 minutes after their order, so it was super annoying for the pizza ordering people to just sit without their food. Of course when the pizza was there, everyone else were finished with their food. We reminded the staff 3 times before they finally brought pizza. Bad luck that the pizza was not that amazing to let us forget about all the frustration and have a higher rate for this place.
