Napoli Notte — Restaurant in Naples

Worst meal I have ever been served! Would give MINUS STARS if I could!!! My "fresh pasta" with tomatoes and mozzarella had a SOUR smell to it. The meatballs my partner ordered were DRY MUSH! I have never seen a meatball his texture in my life and certainly wouldnt have expected to see it in italy! Nothing was fresh, the MICROWAVE was the main appliance in the kitchen (and had pride of place in the kitchen window). I had a view of the kitchen from where I was seated and seen alot of food heated in the microwave! We reluctantly tasted our food and we couldn't even eat the meal (this is the first time I have paid for a meal that I didnt eat) We asked for the bill, the waitress asked about the food, we said it wasn't good and she took our plates and started speaking with the person sorting out the bill. We got given our bill, including service charge! No apology, no comment at all from the staff so we paid and left. Had we been in our own country, we wouldn't have paid for a meal this bad, the only reason we did was because we thought there may he some difficulty or conflict if we refused and we just wanted to leave and eat elsewhere. In summary, this is the worst dining experience, not just of the holiday, but that we have EVER had! If you want good fresh food, DO NOT waste...

(IT) PEGGIORE ESPERIENZA IN UN RISTORANTE" 3 turisti in vacanza a Napoli sono stati avvicinati da un signore che ci ha offerto dei menù e ci ha chiesto di entrare per mostrarci l'architettura "speciale" del ristorante! Appena entrati, un cameriere ci ha chiesto di accomodarci, un po' imbarazzati, abbiamo finalmente deciso di accomodarci! (GRANDE ERRORE) Ci viene dato il menu e una volta fatta la nostra scelta dei piatti (io volevo solo un piatto principale e un dessert) il cameriere ci impone un antipasto con il pretesto che è la "tradizione" di prendere un antipasto bla bla .... A malincuore, io e un amico decidemmo di prendere un antipasto per non perdere la scena! OMG è stato l'antipasto più insipido che abbia mai assaggiato in vita mia, non c'era gusto ed era tiepido. Il mio piatto di lasagne dopo era commestibile, ma niente di più, l'altra mia amica che aveva avuto un piatto di pasta da odiare ne ha mangiato solo due bocconi ha potuto mettere solo un cucchiaio di parmigiano perché il cameriere ci ha portato via la ciotola per darla a un altro tavolo😐! Dopo tanta delusione, abbiamo saltato il deserto. Così finiamo tranquillamente le nostre bevande quando improvvisamente il cameriere ci chiede ad alta voce nel ristorante se siamo vaccinati? Rispondiamo di no e lui comincia a farci una scena degna delle più grandi dive, avverte gli altri 3 tavoli del ristorante specificando che non siamo vaccinati, ci fa una scena durante 5 minuti, è stato terribilmente imbarazzante, avevo un solo desiderio, tossirgli in faccia! Alla fine ci danno una ricevuta dove in fondo c'è scritto quanto ciascuno deve, così chiediamo di pagare separatamente ma lui si rifiuta! In breve, non consiglio questo ristorante, il cibo e il personale sono terribili!

(EN) WORST EXPERIENCE IN A RESTAURANT" 3 tourists on vacation in Naples we were lured by a gentleman who offered us menus and proposed us to enter to show us the "special" architecture of the restaurant! Barely inside, a waiter asks us to settle down a little embarrassed, we finally decide to settle down! ( BIG MISTAKE) We are given the menu and once our choice of dishes made (I wanted only a main course and a desert.) The waiter imposes us an entry by pretext that it is the "tradition" to take an entry bla bla bla.... Reluctantly, I and a friend decided to take an appetizer so that the scene would not procrastinate! OMG it was the blandest appetizer I have ever tasted in my life, there was no taste and it was lukewarm. My lasagna dish afterwards was edible, but nothing more, my other friend who had taken a pasta dish to hate only ate two bites of it she could only put in one spoonful of parmesan cheese since the waiter took the bowl away from us to give it to another table😐! After so much disappointment, we made the dead end on the desert. So we quietly finish our drinks when suddenly the waiter asks us aloud in the restaurant if we are vaccinated? One answers that not and it starts to make us a scene worthy of the biggest divas, it alerts the 3 other tables of the restaurant by specifying that one is not vaccinated, it makes us a scene during 5 minutes, it was frightfully embarrassing, I had only one desire, to cough to him in the face! To finish they give us a receipt where at the bottom there is marked how much each one owes one thus asks to pay separately but it refuses! In short I do not recommend this restaurant, the food and the staff...

Una vergogna. Se si potesse dare meno di una stella, lo farei. Abbiamo ricevuto un trattamento riservato nemmeno agli animali. Avevo sentito parlare bene di questo ristorante che conoscevo, e ho prenotato per portare un mio ospite britannico qui a Napoli per la prima volta. Che figuraccia! Eravamo uno dei primi tavoli ad arrivare (19.45) e, dopo aver attirato l'attenzione dello staff per prendere il nostro ordine, ci è stato detto che molte cose nel menu non c'erano. Vabbè, ci siamo arrangiati e abbiamo accolto i suggerimenti dati dalla cameriera, anche perché dopo una giornata fuori eravamo affamati. Prima delle 20.00 dunque avevamo già ordinato: Antipasto Contadino, frittura di calamari e gamberi, scialatielli alle cozze. Dopo mezz'ora di attesa e dopo aver notato che tutti i tavoli arrivati dopo di noi mangiavano già (incluso un tavolo di altri cari amici arrivati dopo che noi avevamo ordinato noi), abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni al cameriere che non ha saputo risponderci... Tre minuti dopo, il nostro antipasto è arrivato sgraziato e ordinario, che mi fa capire che si sono ricordati di noi solo in quel momento, come confermato poi... Giustamente, non c'era molta preparazione da fare per due bruschette bruciacchiate e due formaggi e del prosciutto crudo messi nel piatto, il quale non era niente di che e, delusi, dopo aver attirato l'attenzione più volte dello staff per sparecchiare il tavolo, aspettavamo le portate principali. Un'altra mezz'ora di attesa (forse di più, visto che erano già passate le 21.00!) senza che nessuno controllasse il nostro tavolo o si domandasse perché non stessimo mangiando. Il mio ospite era allibito e deluso, io anche peggio. Ne avevamo abbastanza a quel punto e, di nuovo, abbiamo chiesto gentilmente spiegazioni che ci sono state date dal proprietario in maniera molto maleducata e senza scuse, il quale ci ha detto in poche parole "aspettate o ve ne andate". Ad un ultimatum del genere abbiamo deciso di andarcene e abbiamo chiesto il conto al proprietario che, dopo che il mio ospite ha pagato, ci ha persino spinti letteralmente fuori dal ristorante (non avevo nemmeno indossato la mia giacca!), forse perché avevano prenotati che non sapevano nemmeno dove far sedere (a detta dello staff) o perché il mio ospite era di colore... Non c'è altra spiegazione e sicuramente e assolutamente non c'è giustificazione per quanto subíto! Anche i miei amici erano scioccati e indignati. Vivendo all'estero, parlo sempre bene e a lungo dell'ospitalità italiana, cosa di cui vado molto fiera. Stasera mi sono vergognata di essere italiana. Che pochezza. Questo posto non ha maniere, ne organizzazione, ne dedizione. Sono...
