TheAtri - cultura napoletana — Attraction in Naples

We were there on April 29. A very pleasant experience of a two-hour immersion in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. All very good: singers, musicians and dancers in their traditional dresses. Well-chosen songs from the traditional Neapolitan repertoire. All this in the historic center of the city where life is most pulsating both day and late night. Also some food and good wine was offered at the end of the show in the back of the stage set uplike an old Neapolitan house with its nineteenth century furniture. No doubt...

Neapel ist voller Überraschungen: In einer etwas versteckten Seitenstraße, der Via Atri, befindet sich dieses kleine private Theater „TheAtri“. Wenn man sich dem Trubel der Via dei Tribunali und dem Geruch von frittierter Pizza etwas entzieht und in den Keller des Theaters hinunter steigt, eröffnet sich einem eine ganz andere Welt. Die Vorstellungen widmen sich ganz der neapolitanischen Kultur und bieten auch Interessierten ohne Italienischkenntnisse eine unterhaltsame und abwechslungsreiche Möglichkeit, in die neapolitanische Theaterwelt einzutauchen. Hinter der Bühne kann man außerdem eine volkstümliche, traditionelle neapolitanische Wohnung, „basso“ genannt, besichtigen und einen Vorgeschmack auf die Unterwelt Neapels bekommen. Un piccolo gioiello nel centro storico della città. Uno spettacolo accattivante ove viene rappresentato un repertorio delle più belle canzoni classiche napoletane, da parte di musicisti ed artisti davvero straordinari. Dulcis in fundo la degustazione, unitamente agli artisti, di un piatto tipico della cucina partenopea, peraltro annaffiato da un onesto rosso di gragnano (un aglianico dal colore rubino che sprigiona aromi di frutta e tabacco).
