San Domenico Café — Restaurant in Naples

J’ai attendu 40min pour un sandwich qu’on ne m’a jamais servi, le service est pitoyable, l’équipe est désagréable au possible tout comme les assises, nous parlons français et on nous envoie un serveur qui parle à peine anglais et qui ne comprend absolument pas notre commande. Quand on essaie d’expliquer la situation au chef il nous rie au nez et critique la France pour absolument aucune raison en disant qu’on ne connaît rien à la vie et nous coupe la parole pendant que les serveurs se moquent de la situation. Dans le peu de plats servis nous avons pu retrouver des cheveux ce qui montre que les normes sanitaires ne sont pas respectées. En allant manger dans un autre restaurant on se rend compte que nous avons oubliés un casquette il nous la lance alors par terre et nous fait des doigts d’honneur. A fuir absolument, allez plutôt manger en face.

Ho aspettato 40 minuti per un panino che non mi è mai stato servito, il servizio è pietoso, il personale è scortese il più possibile così come le sedute, parliamo francese e ci mandano un cameriere che parla a malapena inglese e che non capisce assolutamente il nostro ordine. Quando cerchiamo di spiegare la situazione al capo ci ride in faccia e critica la Francia per assolutamente nessun motivo dicendo che non sappiamo nulla della vita e ci interrompe la parola mentre i camerieri si prendono gioco della situazione. Nei pochi piatti serviti siamo riusciti a trovare dei capelli, il che dimostra che le norme sanitarie non sono rispettate. Andando a mangiare in un altro ristorante ci rendiamo conto che abbiamo dimenticato un berretto, lui ce lo lancia sul pavimento e ci fa le dita medie. Da fuggire assolutamente.

Tourists need to avoid this bar. As other reviews have said, the staff can be aggressive and rude. We had a terrible experience here. We went as a family of four with two children. Most places in Naples are polite and excellent. They gave us the wrong drinks order, then served my daughter a glass of pure lemon juice when we had ordered a San Pellegrino. Who drinks a glass of warm lemon juice???? It almost made her gag. After complaining, they took the drink away and then brought it back after adding water to it! They then tried to overcharge us badly and then tried again. They even threatened to call the police. Because I speak a small amount of Italian we ended up paying just 3 Euros and left. Check your bill carefully...

Our waiter did not give us the dinner menu when we sat down, just drinks. We ordered water and had to wait another 10 minutes until we flagged him down to order food-he thought we wanted the check and then got upset when we wanted to order dinner. Then when we asked for the lasagna (1 of their 7 advertised food options), we were told they couldn't make that. We were the only table there that did not receive complimentary chips and nuts. Not kind to those who only speak English. Our waiter did not acknowledge us the rest of the evening. We could not get his attention to get the check so we left money on the table and left.
