I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. They had a sign on the door stating that they accepted all types of cards, but once inside, their card machine wasn’t working. We were told we had to take out cash, which would have cost us a lot of money due to using a Norwegian bank card.
To make matters worse, the older man working there started yelling at us, which is completely unacceptable, especially since it was their issue with the card machine, not ours. When I calmly explained that they should have informed us about the broken machine, he continued shouting. I am not accustomed to people acting like they were raised by wolves, yelling at two women like that.
He even said it wasn’t his problem that their machine wasn’t working, despite it clearly being their fault. This man ruined my mood entirely, and I have never felt so angry that I stepped out of character and raised my voice at a stranger. But he pushed my limits and tried to overpower me with even more yelling.
This kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. I would never return after being...
Read moreA true Neapolitan gem – Totò e Peppino - L'Oro di Napoli We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Totò e Peppino - L'Oro di Napoli in Naples. From the moment we sat down, we felt like part of the family. The food was simply delicious – we tried the parmigiana, carbonara, and lasagne, and each dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavor.
To top it off, we enjoyed some refreshing Aperol and Campari Spritz Potenziato with extra kick, perfect for the rainy Neapolitan evening.
What truly made our night unforgettable, though, was our waiter, Andrea. Not only was his service impeccable and friendly, but he went above and beyond in ways we never expected. He used his street smarts and local authority to help us get a fair price for umbrellas from street vendors, and even stepped out to buy us some cigarettes when we asked.
Andrea is a legend, and this restaurant is lucky to have him. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food, great drinks, and unforgettable...
Read moreWe travelled in a group of 5 including our two children. Saw this place and wanted to have lunch but their staff made it impossible. Their outside area has a number of standard small tables for 2-4 people and most of them were empty. Typically restaurants put 2 of these together to accommodate groups of more than 4 but these people said they would sit up only if we stay at two separate tables and don’t move tables together. Which is ridiculous on its face. I thought may be they just didn’t want to bother so we offered to put them together and then apart by ourselves but they said no as well. I’ve never met any restaurant which staff was more rude and not accommodative as well as simply...
