The food and the prices were quite okay, but not something very special. We actually considered to give three or even four stars for it, but there were several negative points that changed our minds.
First, it was the behaviour of the waiter. When we were reading the menu card, he several times came and asked for our order, when we had not made a decision yet, so we felt he was just in a hurry.
Later, he brought my pasta much sooner than my wife's pizza, what is also not a sign of professionality. My food seemed to get cold, so I started, and I could even finish it before the pizza finally arrived.
At another table, we could also watch that he forgot to open a bottle of coca cola, the guest then desperatly tried to open it for hisself, but without success. The waiter must see such things and keep an eye on the comfort of his customers, but in that he totally failed.
Next point is the menu card. As you can see on it (foto), the pizza bufalina should have "filetto" on it, what is translated in english as "meat fillet". When we asked the waiter for it, he explained that it would mean the cherry tomatoes, and there is no meat on the pizza. For us, that sounded like a put-off. Why they write cherry tomatoes extra? And why translate "filetto" with "meat filet", when this can only lead to confusions?
Last but not least there was also a very strange situation at the end. When we got the bill, it was 26,-€ in total. I gave a 50,-€ note, but the waiter only gave me 23,- back. I would have considered just as a mistake, but when I went back in to solve this "misunderstanding", he said nothing that sounds like an apology, just with the face of a small boy caught cheating in a game, he asked "everything okay now?"
So in total I really can't recommend this restaurant. The food is quite okay at all, but when you also want to be treated like a guest with hospitality and respect, you are definetly in the...
Read moreI Don’t suggest this restaurant!! 👇🏼👇🏼 At the beginning it seems nice! But just look at the menu, I ordered Bufalina, it is written filletto, below that in English It’s written meat fillet but it DID NOT have any meat, no meat at all!!!!!!!when we told them, they were not nice towards us! They said it’s tomatoes! Not meat, they think we never ever had any foods before???????? My husband was more or less satisfied with his pasta! But I did not like it too! 👇🏼👇🏼 The toilet did not have paper towels! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 The worst part was the very bad behaviour of them…. So the bill arrived pasta( 10€) , pizza ( 8€), two coca cola ( 4€) , and 4 € more since they get more money from tourists!! So what we had to pay was 26€! My husband gave them 50€, how much they returned 23€! One Euro more??!! Why? We told them, they were so impolite, that will not reduce something from us, that only shows their behaviours, they had 1 € coin but what they did instead they gave him 5 coins of 20 cents!! So I don’t suggest this...
Read moreIt looked busy so we decided to dine here. Big mistake. We waited for quite a while and were ignored before being shown to a table; it wasn’t cleaned off and there weren’t any menus offered for five minutes. After deciding on some dishes, we ordered and waited. We waited and waited and waited. Even the drinks didn’t show up for ages (limoncello spritz and aperol spritz, nothing too complex). No bread or any snacks provided. After around forty minutes we were finally served. The food was incredibly bland; the risotto was just rice in a milky sauce, they even forgot to add the mushrooms. The pasta was oily and flavourless, although the few courgettes sprinkled on top were seasoned nicely. The broccoli rabe was the only thing cooked well but it was tepid when it got to us. Overall a huge let down. Worst food we had in Italy and horribly overpriced to boot. The servers were grumpy and nowhere to be seen for most of our visit....
