Ristorante Ai Navigli — Restaurant in Padua

This restaurant did it right, until the end when they allowed a last minute table of 14 people at nearly 11pm to sit for dinner. At that point they were so focused on setting up the table and the guests who had arrived (when I left at 11:30pm only 3 were seated), that they forgot they had other diners in the restaurant. I think it was probably just an unfortunate night to dine there but serviece is key in my book and I don't intend to go back.

I ordered an espresso and by the time I received it, it was cold so I did not drink it. Other than that, the food was good. The portions are small though, so be prepared to order Multiple courses. The crab appetizer was okay ( I had to pick out shells when I ate it) because it was a little dry but the shrimp appetizer looked much better when I saw it come out for another table. The tuna tartare is a very small portion for a main course, but the other dishes looked a bit larger so if you're concerned about being hungry, try the branzino or something else.

Overall, the food was good, but as the service was not great, I won't be going back, but that doesn't mean it's not...

Purtroppo sì dice “Non è tutto oro quel che luccica” A chi interessa e voglia scegliere la location per la propria serata a ristorante , condivido la mi esperienza 31/03/2024 Calcolo / stima dell’Ordinazione alla carta fatta da mia sorella per Pasqua 2024, in base ai prezzi sul sito del ristorante : 1 Capasanta( tartina) : 6,5/7€ ( stima/equiparato a costo di un ostrica come da menu on line ) Scampi in purezza:24€ Risotto di go , asparagi, schie: 26€ ( costo medio dei primi come da sito) Trancio Dentice: 29€ ( stima/equiparato a costo del San Pietro come da menu) Totale : 86€ Il tutto diviso con mia madre Ma da una nota a fondo pagina sul menu alla carta per Pasqua c’era scritto: minimo 2 portate =58€ Quindi l’ordine di cui sopra è stato messo a conto come 58x2=116-86=30€ Delta con quello effettivamente ordinato . Certo avremmo dovuto chiedere spiegazioni prima, ma nonostante avessimo fatto notare allo staff che mia madre 92 anni avrebbe assaggiato/ diviso con la figlia poiché non in grado di mangiare menu completo di Pasqua , non ci hanno consigliato come ordinare , ad es: 3 menu di Pasqua essendo in 4, che avrebbe comunque portato ad un conto più equo. Inoltre : -Non è accessibile per sedie a rotelle -Tempi di attesa biblici . Entrati alle 13:15 usciti alle 16:30. Nessuno si è scusato per l’attesa o quanto meno offerto caffè e/o amaro come gesto cordiale per il cliente . Porzioni piccole per il loro costo Risotto dei 2 menu di Pasqua cotto male . Errori nelle portate . L’ordine del menu alla carta l’abbiamo ripetuto 3 volte allo staff: a voce alla manager di sala La manager è tornata dopo 3’ per richiedercelo e scriverlo sul blocco La manager l’ha richiesto poi a voce per sua sicurezza Allo staff è stato più volte chiesto a che punto fosse l’ordine poiché dopo un’ora avevano portato 3 mini antipasti e a mia madre 92 anni ancora nulla perché avevano deciso che lei dovesse aspettare l’uscita dei primi per tutti . Notare che i mini antipasti hanno avuto vita breve , 1’:30 max per mangiarli È risaputo poi che per gli anziani è necessario rispettare orari e tempi fisiologici dei processi digestivi.

Quindi appare evidente che non si è avuta la giusta attenzione e buon senso nei confronti del cliente , mi dispiace molto per i miei genitori che volevano passare la Pasqua a tavola in famiglia con del buon cibo che è risultato normale /decente e non all’altezza dell’ambiente che prospettava un’importante esperienza culinaria . A fine pasto mio Padre 92 anni ha voluto pagare subito poiché non vedeva l’ora di andarsene . E dietro sue pressioni e per la situazione di mia madre esausta e infastidita dal tutto ho interrotto Il colloquio con la manager a cui facevo notare le varie incongruenze. Buona Pasqua . I found this exquisite place via a blog, online. While I was looking for a nice place for dinner. Arriving at the location and observing the kitchen and the elaborate work of the chef and staff, I realized that they may not accept us with no prior reservation. The assumption was right, but the nice lady who seemed to be the owner or at least a main partner, made an exception and allowed us in providing information that we should wait more than usual. We were unlucky as some of our friends who we lost earlier went back online and we had to leave the place and our luck to join them before having food. Anyway this would be the first place I would visit the next time I go to Padova.
