I went on the Happy Cow app to find a cafe that had food I could eat with my coworkers who are not vegan (I am vegan). This place came up as open and nearby. Their menu seemed promising because it listed some vegan options, but that was not the case in reality. We were seated outside which was really nice and shaded from the harsh afternoon sun. There were some street beggars who came to us asking for money which is why I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. The waiters didn't come take our order for over 30 minutes and they took other orders at tables around us that were seated after us. I don't think they spoke good English and they didn't want to deal with us until they had to. Once we got their attention I tried to order the vegan menu items but they told me they don't offer those anymore. I asked if they could make something vegan and they said no. I asked if I could get just a marinara pizza and they said no. Eventually they said they could do a baguette with just tomatoes on it. I agreed. The coworkers who came with me ordered 2 of the same pizzas and 2 beers. When they came out with the food they brought me a shot of espresso with milk in it. I asked for no milk and they didn't understand what I was saying, but eventually another waiter came by and fixed it and brought me just a shot of espresso. They brought out 2 different pizzas and tried to tell my coworkers they were the same pizzas even though one clearly had pepperoni on it and the other one had zucchini. We think this is from the language barrier, but we weren't sure because when they ordered they had just asked for 2 of the same pizzas. They took the zucchini one away and brought out yet another different pizza that has red peppers on it, but no meat. My coworkers gave up and just ate it. It wasn't a good experience for anyone, especially me who was starving the rest of the day because that meal had no nutrition or anything. It was just a loaf of bread with tomato on it. I don't recommend this...

Really cute cafe with two locations in Palermo. This location... I have almost never met a more rude counterperson as the girl who would have taken my order. I left before even ordering because her energy was so negative (!). Crazier, I went to the other location straight from there, and the girl taking my order there could not have been nicer! I stayed and had a coffee with my date and really enjoyed it. What a difference one person can make in whether you go to a place! I will post a great review of the other location... but for here... atmosphere and offerings looked great, but the service, so in your face rude it took my breath away. I wanted to ask something about the menu, and very politely asked if she spoke any english... (I was apologetic when I asked!), and she blasted me first sentence in response with: "No! No English. You are in Italy, you should speak Italian"...I understand absolutely where she is coming from... but the degree of hostility was just really beyond. I backed out and even the lady in line behind me seemed surprised/embarrassed. Again, other location.. same night......

Grandissima delusione!

Me...

Overall a nice experience. Nothing spectacular but was good. Nice seating area outside except the pigeons were annoying. We ordered a Pistachio Croissant (superb!), Croquette with Panelle sandwich along with a cappuccino and espresso with cream. Personally I didn't like the sandwich, the croquettes weren't the best, but without them the sandwich tasted good. I loved the croissant, felt fresh and the pistachio cream was lovely. We also got long cocktails, mojito and planters punch. Both were good. Nothing to sing to, but good. They also gave some appetizers with the drinks like chips, roasted pistachios and some bread cut up with cheese, mayo and mushroom. Not sure if they were free but maybe the price suggests it wasn't 🤷🏻‍♂️ Total price was €25.70

Delightful choice of cold snacks and cakes abd sweets level 5*. Non acceptable speed of service level 1*. Waiters are very polite and attentive but scarse. It took us 25 minutes till we got our menue. Another 20 minutes till we dissappointly walked out and then returned to finish the time experiment. Another 5 minutes to place the order. And still another 25 minutes to see the food. We didn't get exactly what we had ordered due to complex local dialects and international terminology mismatch. Checking out and payments were anothwr easy 20 minutes. All food was fresh and tasty, no complaints. These were wonderfull 2 hours we spent eating our light breakfast.

Very good service staff but super rude cashier. I only wanted 2 cups of coffee for take away but I waited for more than 30 mins. I wanted to order coffee to go, he refused to help me and asked me to sit down to wait for someone to order. The young guy (service staff) who helped me order the coffee was great I must say. Then I had to go back to the cashier, he didn’t even listen to me when I told him my table number is 94. He ignored me entirely and was asking his colleague what’s my table number. Good place but bad experience with this cashier. Attaching my receipt so the owner knows who is on duty.
