Octopus and Artichoke pasta with tomato sauce was quite nice. Al dente pasta, perfect tomato sauce, only the deep fried artichoke and squids were soaked and bad oil which slightly undermined the dish. As a starter the 3 piece polpete (meatballs) on the other hand very exquisite in taste covered in tomato sauce. Fritto Misto Del Mare (deep fried prawns squid and flakes) had the same problem. It was cooked in bad oil and low temperature. The bottle of white wine was great in smell but lacked and body in taste, thus it was a letdown. You also get complimentary bread basket with your order and there is friendly waiter who speaks fluent English as well.

I'm only half Italian and didn't grow up here, but my Sicilian friend recommended this place. What a gem! It's hidden and away from the tourists. It's cozy and special. I had the sword fish appetizerthe lobster past (not pictured b/c they were charging my phone for me), and the mandarin sorbet. Spectacular! The brought me a mandarin amaretto from here as a compliment at the end. The wine recommendation was superb and this meal is, hands down, the best I've had in the week I've been here. I highly recommend this perfect little restaurant!

We came for a group lunch with 10 people. The restaurant did a great job of welcoming us and suggesting a menu that was delicious and well-paced for the group. Even though we didn't have any Italian speakers in our group, we did fine with help from the staff (there's no English language printed menu). It's entirely seafood focused and we weren't disappointed. Excellent pastas and fresh fish, plus fritti mixti that wasn't excessively greasy! Recommended for a big group (with a reservation) or just stop in for lunch for two.

I still love this restaurant, but it would be nice if they served olive oil, fresh pepper and a salt mill with the meal. Otherwise I can't understand the coperto of 3 euros. Ciccio... I met Ciccio in pentala a few months ago by chance, on a walk, as it is a little off the beaten track in a small alley, and it was a very happy moment.

Since then, I've been a regular guest there and enjoy the excellent food and wine.

I prefer lamb and veal, and as the portions there are quite large, that's always enough for me, even without a starter.

The wines by the glass are also very good. There is also a half bottle of white wine on offer (most of the time at least), which is great because it is also served in a wine cooler. With the temperatures here, this can only be an advantage.

There are daily specials off the menu.

The water is conveniently served in a glass bottle (unfortunately a rarity in Palermo).

If you're not a fan of Sicilian fast food cuisine, this is the place for you. This beautiful restaurant is very popular with the locals, tourists are less likely to be found here (which is probably due to the hidden location).

A charming little wooden terrace invites you to sit outside. But I also like the interior very much. And the music played here is also pleasant. I always enjoy...

I held off writing a review for this restaurant for a very long time wondering if I should because maybe it was just a fluke bad experience. My gut however tells me it was not, so here I am.

We ate here on new years lunch and they were holding a special event with a reduced menu size.

The reduced menu sized would be smart if they had prepped enough, but even with a smaller menu they still had quite a few dishs which they were no longer serving.

Service was slow, and the food was painfully mediocre, totally not worthy of its price range as...
