Frii e Mancia — Restaurant in Palermo

Oggi, al tavolo eravamo in 5. 3 adulti con due portate uguali, un terzo con paccheri pesto e gamberetti e due bambini con due arancine. Lunga attesa, la cosa mi spazientisce, ma la buona cucina non può essere veloce. Un momento prima che ci portassero i primi viene il cameriere e ci avvisa che le arancine per i bimbi non ci sono e che dovevano scegliere un'altra portata. Io gli chiedo, "ma questo vuol dire che mangeremo separati, ma soprattutto che dovremo aspettare una cottura in più?" erano già le 14e20 e non avevo voglia di mangiare alle 3. Ma il cameriere ci dice che le nostre portate sono pronte: cioè ci avvisate a fine cottura che due portate non sono disponibili? non ci potevo credere, va a capire se l'errore lo ha fatto il cuoco o il cameriere. Per cercare di limitare i danni chiediamo della pasta al sugo per i bambini. Arrivano due portate, due adulti cominciano a mangiare, poi la terza e quando è pronta le due paste al sugo... che per essere precisi era SUGO con pasta. Una zuppa di salsa con le penne che ci navigavano dentro, oltre avere una salsa dolcissima oltre i limiti. Beh abbiamo fatto questa pessima esperienza. Succede. Ma oggi come oggi si mangia fuori sempre meno e quando lo faccio voglio, esigo, sia una bella esperienza. 1 antipasto caldo 1 fiori di zucca in pastella (2 pezzi) 2 Coca cola 6 euro 1 Chinotto 3 euro 1 acqua 2 prosecchi 10 euro 2 paste al sugo 10 euro 1 paccheri pesto e gamberi 10 euro 2 anciova (se non ricordo male) Totale 77 euro...

Excellent homemade food and amazing service! My girlfriend and I decided to eat here because most restaurants in the center of Palermo are just tourist traps. Here, we enjoyed delicious homemade and fresh food, and we even met the owner, who was extremely friendly and attentive. The waiter was always on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back....

We stopped for dinner one night and hoped to be in the restaurant. Instead we were in the overflow across the lane.
