Le Angeliche - Dolci al Volo — Restaurant in Palermo

Of all the bakeries I tried in my week in Palermo, this was by far my favourite - especially the pan d'arancio with its ribbons of orange peel. The flavours of ingredients shine through as very little sugar is used, and the textures are so delicate. They follow traditional recipes with no artificial ingredients, and use recycled paper instead of single use plastic. Staff are warm, friendly, and happy to explain the ingredients and regional context of their products. Sitting out in the market for breakfast provides an incredible atmosphere. I came back on my last day to savour the pan d'arancio again and bought packaged goodies for souvenirs - they also have ornaments, tote bags, and beautiful prints. Can't wait to...

This is the place to have you breakfast in Palermo……… it is of all the places in the area the most delicious, the most honest and has the best pastries of the area, made on site !!!!!! A gem in the chaotic area of the market of Capo we had breakfast there daily. Lived it and recommend it beats the usual cornetto that is so very boring...
