Excellent. Situated directly in the vibrant (fish) market, featuring a little terrace aside of it — and offering some of the best fish and sea food around. The mussels were superb, absolutely fresh and cooked in a lovely sauce of wine, garlic, pepper and olive oil — all of highest level ingredients, each bite an experience full of flavours. The aubergine and olive tartare is something to behold of — beautiful rich in flavours, with tomato and aubergine striking it out in a rich and creamy combo. The pasta rounded it off, while a continuation of the starter (mussels) we couldn’t resist to have some more of it. We came here on our last night in palermo, the reviews were enticing. I wonder if the food was bad because it was not very busy on a Wednesday night in March? However the shrimp appetizer tasted like the shrimp had been frozen? It was completely mushy in texture, not fresh and covered in pink mayonnaise, overwhelming and just not good.

The pasta with olive oil and mussels was so bad we could only stomach a few bites, i can't even describe it. The smell, the taste, all just awful, imagine a horse stable. Went here this morning for lunch when I had just landed in Palermo. I went around Mercato del Capo since I heard it's a good spot around here. Found this place and decided to have a go at it. Took me quite a while to wait in the waiting list though but that's to be expected.

I ordered the pepate di cozze as an appetizer and the linguine gambero rosso e pesto di pistachio. If you're really into seafood this is not a bad place to go to.
