Visitors AVOID, rude staff who seem to think it is ok to treat you terribly. We came here after reading great reviews but unfortunately came across very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. It may serve you well to remember that good food should also come with good service.

We walked into a frosty reception, unlike the group of locals who were kindly taken immediately to a table. We were offered a table by the front door (which had no chairs) and told we couldn’t order for 20 mins. We were happy to wait as the food and restaurant are meant to be fantastic. However, we waited standing at the door with no acknowledgement whatsoever. It was as if we were invisible. They didn’t offer us chairs to sit on or even a menu. After standing in the doorway for 5 mins being completely ignored, we gave up and regrettably left the restaurant. It doesn’t matter how good the food is or how nice the restaurant is, no one deserves to be treated this way. And for that reason, I strongly advise visitors to Palermo to avoid...

Was fairly optimistic when we were seated in an outdoor courtyard at the back of the restaurant. It was pleasant. Then my food arrived. I got chicken with mashed potatoes. The presentation was poor to say the least. Upon first seeing the incredibly small serving of seven small chunks of chicken in a small puddle of mashed potatoes I was more than disappointed considering it was a main dish with a price above average. My disappointment quickly subsided though when I discovered it did not taste good. I would describe it like a chicken besciamelle with an acidic flavour in a measly puddle of mash. To be avoided. Food was served very quickly…always a bad sign. Within 5-7 mins our dinner served. My husband and I ordered the special ravioli. The filling was about 2 mm and although pasta was freshly made it was not warm. It was served on a bed of mullet, fennel, pignoli and currants. Flavor of base was good but could have been made days ago. Didn’t marry well with the ravioli which were just placed on top with a shaving of cheese and almond…very careless and just not what was expected Although the ingredients were good the dish was not at all delicious together and filling was so small you couldn’t taste it.
