Excellent food, okay service, and terrible wine. The restaurant had been recommended to us and we were excited to try it. The night before the place had been packed with people and the service seemed great. Tonight (Tuesday) there was only us and one other couple, and as such the owners/chef were sat on their phones in the main part of the restaurant and the outdoor area was closed. We had the swordfish with potatoes and sausage pasta; both absolutely delicious. We asked for a dry white wine and were recommended one by the young girl who was the only person serving; presumably the owners daughter. It was so awful neither my husband nor I could actually drink it. Maybe we should have complained but we did not want to be rude and I think a part of me assumed that like any good restaurant we would be asked how we were finding our meal... The older couple were left with finished plate in front of them until long after they finished their meal, wine glasses half full also..., owners on their phones. Go for the food, be prepared to request better service, try the wine before...

Read moreWe ate here on Saturday night, while it supposedly opened at 7, they weren’t ready to accommodate guests until 8pm. The Caprese and Charcuterie board were delicious, and we were delighted for our next course. My husband got the Carrettiera which he thought was very good, I ordered the veal involtini and potato au gratin. The involtini was burnt on one side and I was informed that is “how they do it” and the potato is a plain sliced and roasted potato, no cheese. We explained what au gratin meant, looks like a problem with translation from Italian to...
