ristorante kemonia — Restaurant in Palermo

Good location, excellent terrace, decent food, but terrible service.

I waited more than a hour for my food (fish soup an grilled swordfish).

The fish was cold when it reached my table, and i then asked for a glass of white wine, that never arrived.

When I asked for the bill the waiter asked me “if the wine was finally served or not”, he had no idea.

I was the only customer in the interior of the restsurant and there were a couple of groups sit on the terrace, there was no reason for the lack of good service. I took me more than hour hour an a half to have lunch, only two dishes, no desert, no coffee.

It was a pitty as the price is correct and the food is not bad, but I am affraid they need to organize...

In response to reply to my original comments, I have reduced stars to 2. They’re basically saying I am lying and that it was our fault they can’t count to 9!

Ordered 9 meals. Only 8 served. Waiter replied, “only 8 on my order!” Perhaps he should have checked with 9 people seated. My meal came out cold, he told me it had come directly from kitchen but didn’t deal with it. Not particularly good service, however food...

I wish I had a better opinion, but the pasta was under cooked and the alla norma was just pasta sauce with some roasted egg plant on top. Which is technically "pasta alla Norma" I suppose, in the same way Pot Noodles are technically noodles.

Plus despite few patrons (which should have been a red flag), the service was poor and...
