Disastrous Dining Experience at Pizzeria Sud antica forneria.
I recently visited Pizzeria Sud antica forneria with high hopes for a delicious pizza feast, but sadly, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, everything seemed to go wrong.
The pizza was a major letdown. The crust was overly doughy and undercooked, while the toppings were sparse and tasted stale.
To make matters worse, the atmosphere in the restaurant was chaotic and loud. There was a constant stream of noise coming from the manager/Owner table , making it impossible to have a pleasant conversation with my dining companions. The overall ambiance was far from the relaxing and enjoyable environment you'd expect from a pizzeria.
As if that wasn't enough, the restroom facilities were in a deplorable state. They were unclean and gave off a strong unpleasant odor, which made me question the overall hygiene standards of the establishment.
All in all, my experience at Pizzeria Sud antica forneria was nothing short of a disaster. From the subpar pizza to the chaotic atmosphere and poor restroom conditions, it was an unfortunate dining venture I won't soon forget. I cannot recommend this pizzeria to anyone, and I'll certainly be looking elsewhere for my next...
Read more!! Do not go here!! We were served raw sausage on our pizza. Unfortunately, I only noticed after 2 slices. We told the servers (one male and one female) about it, and they tried to convince us it was okay. We asked again, and more of the employees got involved. One of whom showed us the raw meat they used. He was quickly told by others to leave the situation. They started to offer other things such as free coffee. We just wanted to pay and leave. They charged us full price, and as we left the brunette, female waitress wearing glasses, waved the receipt around, and laughed at us. I am the type of person to understand mistakes and let it go, but honestly, that waitress just made it clear to me that this is a common occurrence in this restraunt, hence the celebration on making us pay.
Please stay clear of here, cause I hope no one else has to deal with this sort of treatment.

Quando mio padre ha condiviso con entusiasmo che era la sua prima volta in Italia, il nostro cameriere gli ha detto scortesemente di non menzionarlo mai e gli ha insistito di affrettarsi nell’ordinare. Mio padre, incapace di comprendere la scortesia del cameriere, gli ha chiesto di rallentare per chiarire. In risposta, il cameriere è passato all’inglese, affermando che sarebbe stato “più veloce”, nonostante mio padre fosse fluente e spesso scambiato per un abitante del posto.
Da quel momento in poi, il servizio è stato abissale. Il nostro cameriere ci ha ignorato palesemente, facendo portare le nostre bevande e l’antipasto da altri membri dello staff invece di servirci direttamente. Quando finalmente è arrivato il calamaro, era gommoso e ben lontano da ciò che ci aspettavamo.
Dopo aver atteso oltre un’ora senza alcun riconoscimento, mio padre ha cercato di attirare l’attenzione del nostro cameriere tramite un altro membro dello staff, ma lui ci ha visibilmente ignorati. L’unica volta che il cameriere ci ha finalmente riconosciuti è stata quando abbiamo messo dei soldi sul tavolo per coprire le nostre bevande e l’antipasto, senza mai ricevere il conto.
Sono ulteriormente deluso dalla gestione del Ristorante Sud dopo aver scoperto che copiano e incollano le loro risposte alle recensioni negative, indicando che il servizio clienti e l’esperienza non sono una loro priorità. Questa esperienza è stata in netto contrasto con la calda ospitalità che abbiamo trovato altrove in Italia.
Our experience at Sud in Palermo was incredibly disappointing. When my dad excitedly shared that it was his first time in Italy, our server rudely told him never to mention that and insisted he hurry up when ordering. My dad, unable to comprehend the server’s rudeness, asked him to slow down for clarity. In response, the server switched to English, claiming it would be “faster,” despite my dad being fluent and often mistaken for a local.
From that moment on, the service was abysmal. Our server blatantly ignored us, having other staff bring our drinks and appetizer instead of serving us directly. When the calamari finally arrived, it was chewy and far from what we expected.
After waiting over an hour without any acknowledgment, my dad attempted to get our server’s attention through another staff member, but he visibly shrugged us off. The only time the server finally acknowledged us was when we placed cash on the table to cover our drinks and appetizer, without ever receiving a bill.
I’m further disappointed in Sud’s management after realizing they copy and paste their responses to negative reviews, indicating that customer service and experience are not high priorities for them. This experience starkly contrasted with the warm hospitality we encountered...
