A Gem in the Heart of Parma Angiol d’Oro deserves top marks on every level. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel immediately at home. We started with a truly original appetizer: a black cabbage flan served with gorgonzola sauce. It was a fantastic creation – rich, flavorful, and unlike anything we’ve tried before. For the main course, I enjoyed tortelli filled generously with pumpkin, offering a wonderful sweet-salty contrast of pumpkin and Parmigiano, alongside tortelli with spinach and ricotta, equally delicious. My husband was very satisfied with his pasta with shrimp, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Wine and coffe. Cost 79€. The location is central, the prices are very fair, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Everything we tried tasted heavenly. Without doubt, Angiol d’Oro is a place we would return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Parma.

Great experience! I reserved a table via WhatsApp with Giorgio and he let me know that they could do Tortelli and Anolini gluten free but that they can make almost everything on the menu gluten free. when we arrived he knew it was me the gluten free :-) and we had an amazing dinner. The location of the restaurant is in the immediate old town and offers beautiful views of the cathedral of Parma and the inside of the restaurant ist beautifully decorated. I had the Tortelli - 4 of pumpkin and 4 of ricotta and spinach and they were to die for. Super delicious and followed up with the duchessa di parma which also was amazing. I felt very safe eating here and they had great knowledge. The normal pasta my partner ordered was also delicious and he also went with the duchessa di parma. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the perfect dinner in Parma!

Gusto, bellezza = Piacere L'Angiol d'Or è innanzitutto un ristorante bello! Bello l’interno per la cura dei dettagli (tovaglie, fiori sui tavoli ecc.) e la meravigliosa veranda e bellissima la vista sul Battistero e Piazza Duomo!! E questo è ovviamente già un bonus di per se. Il servizio è molto cortese e premuroso senza essere invadente, il menu "abbastanza" tradizionale ma con più di un occhio alla modernità e completa la lista dei vini un po' ristretta ma che viene incontro a tutte le possibili esigenze. Abbiamo mangiato: (ovviamente) salumi misti con la pizza fritta che è sempre un abbinamento golosissimo e che non stufa mai e il medaglione di cotechino accompagnato da yogurt con erba cipollina, e lenticchie con frutto della passione .. Dimenticavo di dire che nel frattempo avevamo preso il Lambrusco "Bruno" di Ceci che è un ottimo rosso spumante (secco) che andava a nozze con la serata e i nostri piatti! Come primi abbiamo scelto dei ravioli ripieni di burrata e nduja con gamberi e vellutata di zucchine che ho trovato (i ravioli) molto buoni ma che avevano poco a che fare con il testo (gamberi e vellutata...) e risotto al topinambur con ristretto di salvia e provola affumicata veramente buono e ben riuscito, "divino" insieme al Bruno!! Come secondo abbiamo preso solo una guancia di maiale brasata con mousse di mortadella e pistacchi in grani molto buona e ben cotta (e anche qui, se pur buona in se, la mousse di mortadella poco c'entrava con il brasato..). Per concludere infine, il classico tortino al cioccolato che se ben realizzato, come in questo caso, è un classico quasi imperdibile (qui era accompagnato da una ottima crema di zabaione e da un gelato molto buono di nocciole a pezzetti) e pera cotta con panna, gocce di vino e frutti di bosco che in questo caso, personalmente avrei gradito più carica e non così minimal...). In conclusione quindi, L' Angiol d'Or è un ristorante molto buono dove assaggiare degli ottimi piatti con grande relax e piacere circondati dalla bellezza. Prezzi medio alti ma perfettamente in linea con la proposta complessiva molto buona.

Visited the restaurant for a small birthday celebration, because of all the amazing reviews on here, but left disappointed. The staff was amazing! Great service and very friendly, 5 starts to them! The deception was about food. It was good, but not as extraordinary as some may describe. We had 4 children with us, they didn't have anything special for kids, not even "half portion" options. So you could either order plain pasta, or anything from the menu full size, full price. We ended up splitting full portions between them, but again - it was just surprising that in Italy there wouldn't be something for the kids. There were several tables with children around us, they all had plain pasta... The restaurant is beautiful inside, great decor, great staff, just OK food and a big bill at the end. Since the adults didn't take dessert - no special attention to the birthday person, not even a round of limoncello or digestif. Such a shame..had bigger...
