This is a wonderful restaurant to try local and national delicacies. We stumbled by one evening, and stopped for dinner, and it was fantastic. We had the “Il Ducato” - a wonderful person at to taste a variety of cold sliced meats, the Parma Tortelli With Greens and Ricotta - a solid traditional local choice, and the Parma Cappelletti With Beef Stew in Capon Broth - which was absolutely amazing, if somewhat a mistranslation I believe, don’t expect beef stew as you might in America or England - they were small, beef filled pasta shapes floating in a soup, and they were delicious - like I could eat them every day.

The other very exciting part about this restaurant is that they have a number of vertical and horizontal tastings of cheese, which is a great way to see the difference between cow breed milk varieties or the differences that aging can play on a cheese. Additionally they offer a wide variety of sliced meats and a pasta menu that appears to be seasonal which is offered in half and full portions so you can taste your way through the entire menu!

Excellent set of offerings, very well thought out and presented. I can’t wait to come back again, and know if I lived in Parma I’d...

We just loved everything here. The food, the service, wine, ambience and the prices are reasonable. And it was open during siesta time!!! As you know most places are closed in Italy during the day. It’s quite a big restaurant . Very bright and has a lot of sunlight. We ordered cheese plate and ham plate, and they were splendid ( with the exception of one kind of sausage- it was kind of rubbery), pumpkin tortellonis and wine . And everything was very very tasty. We ended up buying their cheese and vinegar ( which was absolutely amazing). The only drawback was that they didn’t have many choices on the menu, and something that we wanted to order wasn’t available. But other than that, we had...

All chesses and cold cuts were very good BUT as we requested the bill we noted that we were charged an extra €6 for requesting one of the chesses from the chesse platter to be servered in a different plate. When we asked why were we charged extra the manager replied back that we were served a bigger than usual portion. This we never asked for and nor were we advised beforehand of the extra charge! But to top it off it's the way we got the reply back by the manager. A very cold and stubborn answer! Sorry your customer service is much to be desired. Definitely I'll be choosing other resturants for the rest of...

VERY OVERPRICED, SLOW SERVICE -- AVOID!!! The outside of the building, and the outside dining area, looked interesting. Went in 3p and it was closing for lunch. They agreed to seat me. All I wanted was a simple pasta dish. The ravioli came out with only 6 raviolis! (SEE ABOVE PHOTO) For that, and one wine, the cost was 24.5 Euros! One-third of that was for the tourist fee (salt, pepper, napkin, tablecloth), bread, a huge bottle of water, much too much for one person, plus tax. Plus slow service and unfriendly staff. Very disappointing experience. Avoid the tourist traps, people!!! Eat local.

Reflecting back, weeks after our trip to Italy. This restaurant is still our favorite memory. This was my second time here. I ate here in 2023, and wanted to return. The menu is simple and so are the delicate pastas. In their simplicity, the gentle flavors stand out and don’t get confused and overwhelmed. My favorite dish on my 2024 Northern Italy trip, was the Cappelletti in Brodo. And our favorite wine we had here as well. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. Yes, portions are smaller (not USA ridiculously large portions), but the quality is superior.
