Botticella — Restaurant in Pavia

Fairly decent interiors, cordial staff, some of whom speak English as well and are friendly. Inside area isn't too big/spacious but experience - worth it. Since throats were running dry, we ordered Sanpellegrino, a non alcoholic drink which tastes close to sprite, a milder version I humbly opine being a kind of beginner in this.

Ordered for Provola E Pepe and Margherita gialla.

Provola E Pepe - Amazing softness and consistent at least till one reaches the last slice, which was the main reason why I didn't leave the " cornicione " ( the outer ring or the raised edge of the pizza which many don't consume as it gets hard and dry ) on my plate.

Coming to taste, Provola cheese came with a hint of traditional burn odour with few chewy patches at the centre. . . . Worth the evening 😍. Along with that it was topped with cherry tomatoes, basil leaves etc.

Bottom line - A MUST TRY! Having the company of a french friend discussing food and music was icing on the cake, along with the fizzy Sanpellegrino giving an absolutely remarkable finishing touch after every slice, continually.

Unable to opine on MARGHERITA GIALLA ( However, including picture for some idea for whoever wishes to have a view.) as we couldn't share our pizzas before getting lost in it.

We were a big group of people who tried to go to this restaurant on a Friday night with no booking. The waitress was super kind and managed to give us a table. The pizza menu is very diverse offering various options. The pizza pastry is very thin and light just how I like it. The atmosphere is a little posh for students but the waiters are nice. A little bit pricey...

Ein schöner Abend und auf Empfehlung eines Freundes hier gegessen. Zur Auswahl abends standen Pizza, frittierte Vorspeisen & Desserts. Ich kam leider mit der elektronischen Speisekarte nicht klar. Ich konnte nur ca 15 Pizzen sehen. Die Speisekarte gab es in 7 Sprachen und der Service hätte auch geholfen. Mir war die Auswahl der 15 Empfehlungen genug. 👌 Der Service hat auch Englisch gesprochen und es waren wirklich viele Kellner vor Ort. Das Restaurant öffnete erst um 19:30. Mittags hat es auch geöffnet wohl. (12-14 Uhr eher aber länger, hab es mit nicht gemerkt) Die frittierten Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, die Pizza, wohl neapolitanischer Art leider nicht ganz mein Geschmack. Der Rand war hoch "fluffig" ausgebacken, leider nicht knusprig genug für mich persönlich. Der Boden sehr dünn, aber weich. Es ist eine andere Art von Pizza, als Deutscher in der Schweiz ungewohnt. Preislich voll in Ordnung und werde dem Restaurant bestimmt auch noch eine zweite Chance geben. 👌🍀 Ich bedanke mich herzlich für einen Sorglosen...
