Verdesalvia — Restaurant in Pavia

We had a delightful dinner at Verde Salvia. This tastefully designed spot has a varied and interesting menu, featuring many items we’ve not seen on our trip. The service was outstanding, with very friendly, accommodating staff who delivered food and drink at just the right pace. Oh, and the welcome pour of prosecco was a very nice touch.

The pizza here is first rate, with a light, fluffy crust cooked to perfection. Toppings are imaginative, and in our case they were accentuated by very high quality cheeses. A pizza here is enough to satisfy one person - unless you have a monster appetite!

One of us had a pear & gorgonzola pizza, a regular item on their menu. Delicious! The other was a special item: fior di latte; big juicy prawns wrapped in pancetta; and, zucchini blossoms. Just outstanding!

Our third person had a rice burger with tuna tartare, tomatoes and lemon. It was a very tasty, very generous serving.

We rounded out the meal with three glasses of wine and post-dinner coffees (of course). All for €75; a very reasonable price for outstanding food and service....

4.5/5. I really had a good experience. Along with some of my friends went for a dine in and the inside is quite well decorated.

One vegetarian and three non vegetarian pizzas were order and the breads were so damn soft along with cheese sandwiched between the base and meat slices/ veggies topped over it on the bread base.

It just melts in mouth.

Coming to the sitting arrangement, it felt quite homely and was a compact space along with outdoor arrangements.

Staff was friendly.

We further went ahead to order the normal tiramisù and cheese cake, which were amzing and we're a good ending to our dinner and dine in at the pizzeria.

Mi dispiace deludere i gourmet di Pavia..ma di gourmet non c è niente..prima cosa non è da considerare ne una pizza ne focaccia.. l'unica cosa che viene attenzionata è l'impasto è la sua lievitazione(questo non fa di quella cosa una pizza e tanto meno gourmet) gli ingredienti usati con tutte queste eccellenze non lo sono stati..un errore grave a mio parere e già il fatto che per quella al salmone affumicato me la fai pagare 14.50€ e al tonno "fresco" 12.50 mi sembra strano..ricordavo che il tonno come qualità e prezzo era più alto del salmone affumicato che compri al supermercato(il gourmet il salmone se lo prepara in cucina, per quello poi ti aumenta il prezzo, per la preparazione ed il lavoro dietro)..e poi lasciando perdere questo piccolo particolare.. Avevo letto parecchie recensioni non proprio positive sul concetto di pizza ma adesso che l ho provata posso confermarlo.. Se volete la pizza li non la trovate..trovate altro che è cmq buono ma per il prezzo non resterete affatto felici.. Noi per 5 specie di pizza 2 birre e 2 acque abbiamo pagato 96 euro€ A me è sembrata na mazzata bella e buona..ma fa niente è stata l unica che prenderò dal posto.. Unica lancia che voglio spezzare a favore è il personale..molto gentile e carino e la location è davvero davvero molto carina..se potessero equilibrare location e PIZZA(QUELLA VERA) quel posto potrebbe valerne il nome.. Per il resto a voi la scelta.. Ripeto non male ma soldi non giustificati per...
