I was deceived. Never go to this store. The pizza and coffee are too bad and they charge exorbitant prices.

Even though I went into a cheaper and dirty shop, I was charged with the receipt from the restaurant next door. The pizza was bad, the cafe was too bad, and what's more, the cafe was too expensive, with a 15% service charge. This amount is fraudulent. Again, it was requested with a receipt from a different store. This is a store run by a fraud group. I was stupid to go in without reading the reviews. I hope there are no more victims like me.

This restaurant is so disappointing that I immediately responded to my review.

Admittedly, when I went there, it was lunchtime, but there were hardly any customers. It's a lie that hundreds of people come every day. Don't be fooled.

Maybe I was bored, but I saw a male clerk kissing a female clerk. In Italy, it may be a greeting, but it was unpleasant.

The expensive coffee and 15% service charge are exorbitant in this dirty, unappetizing establishment.

Please be careful not to be deceived.

I saw other people's posts and realized that this store was evading taxes. The receipt I received was cut off in an unnatural place. By canceling the transaction and pretending that the money was never deposited, they are evading even more of the large sum of money. Those who enrich their own pockets by stealing money from even the poorest of us and not paying taxes will...

Be aware of the extra €2.50 per person charge that appears on your bill. This is only pointed out to you at the counter when you go to pay. Apparently it's to cover sitting at the table with your own food/drink, which I didn't do! The food wasn't great either.

Also expect a sarcastic and uneducated response from 'Charlie Bar' unless you leave a 5* review. Rather than take on board what I and others have said, they'd rather insult.

In response to Charlie's comment to my initial review: I travel frequently - on a monthly basis - with the exception of Covid restrictions. This wasn't my first meal, first, day or my first time in Italy. But it will be last time at Charlie's Bar. Charlie also mentioned that I should back to Kosovo?!? What a stupid thing to say. This place definitely has a very casual, laid-back vibe — maybe a bit too casual at times. The food was hit or miss. The fries were pretty decent, but the pizza just didn’t taste great, which was disappointing since that’s what we came for.

We ordered a small Fanta but ended up being charged for a medium, and it tasted watered down anyway. Not a huge deal on its own, but it added to a few other odd details — like the €5 cover charge on a €37 bill. That felt a bit excessive for a place with such a relaxed setup.

Service was friendly enough. At one point, a staff member was walking around holding a baby while taking orders, which just felt a little unprofessional and maybe too informal for what you’re paying.
