ArtBurger — Restaurant in Pisa

Absolute chaos. We were going to a gig and the meeting place for the coach was right outside here. We had about 20 minutes to wait so we sat down to order a drink. A waitress came and took our order for a beer and a lemon Fanta. Then nothing for ages. Then, the same waitress came and tried to take our order again. I said “you’ve already taken our order, we’re waiting for drinks”. She disappeared. A few minutes later she came again, empty handed and said “I’m sorry, we have no system”. I asked again for the drinks and she went to a beer tap just inside and poured me a beer. And brought an orange Fanta. We couldn’t be bothered to tell her we’d ordered a lemon Fanta. While this was happening a few other people got up and left after not being able to order. A man, who I think was the manager was striding around angrily talking very discourteously to staff. We didn’t see any food come out for anyone in the 20 minutes we were there. This was at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Not Saturday night peak time. I arrived in Pisa quite late on Saturday evening so I was worried that I wouldn't find anywhere open, especially somewhere with vegan food. This was the first place I looked at and there wasn't just one dish that I could have, there was a whole separate menu. What a treat! I had the vegan burger which was made from chickpeas with kale and it was delicious. I also had the vegan dessert as it sounded so good. The non dairy cream and fresh raspberry combination was amazing! My boyfriend had a steak tartare and the tiramisu and really enjoyed both. A very good burger joint near Tuttomondo by Keith Harring. The place is very clean and stylishly designed. The burger menu is extensive, offering multiple options and variations, including gluten free, kids section and a vegan section. Salads and desserts are also offered. The drinks menu is also elaborate, offering a good number of in-house drinks, beers, smoothies and cocktails. The service is very cordial and fast, our orders arriving immediately with the drinks. The food and beverages were satisfactory, although most of the french fries portions were too salty.
