Pizzeria Birreria Dabbe — Restaurant in Pisa

Amazing place, we stumbled upon these guys when we were in search of food. You wouldn’t know they were here unless you open google maps as they are down off the Main Street! The service and food was 10/10 I would definitely recommend checking them out, they serve food from 19:00pm onwards so it’s great if you’re wanting a nice evening meal out without having to sit on the Main Street with loads of people walking around you! We went back twice as we loved it that much😊 I would recommend getting there for when it opens around 19:00 - 20:00 as after this it does very busy but even with that they are so quick with the food you’re never waiting long.

The servers were so kind and helpful as the menus is in Italian but don’t let that put you off as they are so nice in explaining and even helping to pick out items you may like. They have a selection of meat dishes, burgers (which my partner said was amazing) and the best pizza, along with these a selection of sides dishes! But so much more to choose from if your not in the mood of pasta or fish etc…the prices as well are very very reasonable and even just 4 euros of a glass of wine, can’t complain at all!

Overall the service, food and atmosphere were all 10/10. If I ever find myself in Pisa again I will be...

Came recommended by a local friend, and it absolutely delivered. Just a short stroll from Piazza Chiara Gambacorti, it’s away from the tourist crowds with more reasonable prices and a relaxed, authentic vibe.

We visited on a Saturday in mid-July. It wasn’t crowded, but I’d still suggest booking a table to be safe.

The service was friendly and attentive. The menu has something for everyone. Our 13-year-old said it was the best burger she’s ever had. The pizza was to die for, the mixed grill was cooked perfectly, and everything was served piping hot and at the same time. We started with a glass of Prosecco, followed up with a large IPA on tap, and ended the evening with a chocolate lava cake and a well-pulled espresso.

Would happily come back....

Il responsabile del locale non ci ha permesso di pagare solo ciò che avevamo consumato, ma ci ha obbligato a pagare alla romana.

A cena con un gruppo di 15 persone, mi dirigo verso la cassa prima che tutti gli altri pagassero. Chiedo se potessi pagare solo la mia insalata e una bottiglia di acqua (quindi ciò che avevo consumato), ma il dipendente, presentandosi come il responsabile del locale, mostra sorridente un cartello con su scritto che per i gruppi vi era l’obbligo di pagare alla romana. In maniera gentile rispondo che avrei pagato come preferiva (nonostante avrei speso circa €5 in più di quanto avrei dovuto) e dico “questo comunque non è regolare”. Da lì inizia una piccola discussione col responsabile che mi dice “questa è la politica del locale, mostrami l’articolo della costituzione che dice il contrario” io rispondo che ovviamente non esiste nessun articolo della costituzione che parla di questo argomento, ma che comunque per legge io sono dovuto a pagare solo ciò che ho consumato.

Ad oggi, spero che il ristoratore si sia informato correttamente e abbia rimosso quel cartello. Ci tengo a precisare che se il responsabile ci avesse gentilmente chiesto di pagare alla romana perchè gli sarebbe venuto più comodo noi non avremmo fatto alcuna discussione e questa recensione non sarebbe mai esistita. Ma il modo di fare, mostrando il cartello, parlando di costituzione e cose simile, nel momento in cui aveva palesemente torto mi ha davvero infastidito.

Comunque cena ok, locale a parer mio troppo rumoroso nonostante fosse un lunedì (non voglio immaginare il sabato cosa succede) e prezzi un po’ altini, coca cola a soli €3,7😅 Non ci sono nemmeno due patatine incluse nei...
