Tanduri — Restaurant in Pisa

Where to start, had this on deliveroo this evening while I’m on holiday from the UK with my girlfriend. What a shambles! Let’s start with the “chicken spicy” wasn’t spicy was chicken wings and bones in the box had bones with no chicken 2 to be exact it was dry was tandoori not spicy, 3 euro not end of the world. CHICKEN TIKKA MASSALA what on earth was that it was disgusting tasted like tomatoes gone wrong it was disgusting we both didn’t eat it. 8.50 euro EACH for a small tiny tub HALF FULL disgraceful honestly as that’s not what a tikka massala is or taste likes and that portion was a joke! Rice was only good thing along with the naan which is why I give 1 star. We honestly have been ripped off with this and had a awful last meal in Pisa before heading home. If your british or love a nice curry stay well clear! People who review this place must have no taste buds. Seriously 8.50’for the curry I’ve attached a photo. Awful is all I can describe this 30 euros in total want my money back.

Da dove cominciare, stasera ho avuto questo deliveroo mentre sono in vacanza dal Regno Unito con la mia ragazza. Che caos! Cominciamo con il "pollo piccante" non era piccante era ali di pollo e le ossa nella scatola avevano ossa senza pollo 2 per essere esatti era asciutto era tandoori non piccante, 3 euro non fine del mondo. POLLO TIKKA MASSALA cosa diavolo era disgustoso assaggiato come i pomodori andavano male, era disgustoso che entrambi non l'abbiamo mangiato. 8,50 euro OGNI per una piccola minuscola vasca MEZZA PIENO vergognosamente onestamente in quanto non è ciò che una tikka massala o gusti piace e quella porzione era uno scherzo! Il riso era solo una cosa positiva insieme al naan ed è per questo che do 1 stella. Onestamente siamo stati derubati di questo e abbiamo mangiato un terribile ultimo pasto a Pisa prima di tornare a casa. Se sei britannico o ami un bel curry, stai ben chiaro! Le persone che recensiscono questo posto non devono avere papille gustative. Seriamente alle 8.50 "per il curry ho allegato una foto. I have been to Italy on 11days trip with my family but can't fail to mention one of the best restaurent with delicious authentic food, very cheap price (i.e. 20EUR gave stomach filling food for 4 people), good quantity, good service, freshly served and cheerful personality of Indian owner has won our heart. Anyone going to Pisa must not miss to eat food at Tanduri restaurant. They serve 4 types of chutneys whose taste are unmatchable and didnt find it in India too. The only feedback i shared with them was to move to big place since its slightly inside from main street so lookout for updates on their website as they plan to grow big in future. Other than Leaning Tower of Pisa this restaurent is a must visit...GOD Bless you guys and hope all your wishes are fulfilled. Hope to visit very soon. (Just FYI, We ordered following- Naan-3nos, Garlic Naan-1, Allu Naan-2, Paneer Tikka Masala-1, Biryani-1, Sweet-1, 2 plate onion & 2 plate Chutneys were complementary).

Had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and it was nice to be able to sit outside in the piazza and eat our meal. I'm from the UK originally and love really spicy curries, and the chicken vindaloo I chose didn't disappoint. Lovely and spicy, and the flavour was absolutely delicious. We also had chicken pakora, which was full of flavour and cooked really well - nice and moist chicken with a crispy coating. My wife had a brinjal bhaji which was one of the best we've tasted. Perfectly cooked pulao rice and a garlic naan bread that was so garlicy it was amazing. Really recommend this restaurant and it's been one of the best Indian meals we've had since arriving in Italy...
