Absolutely Incredible Dining Experience at Orama
Orama was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Positano. Perched quietly on the hill, it offers a breathtaking view over the harbour — the kind of view that feels like a postcard come to life. The atmosphere is pure luxury yet wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the busier streets below.
From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The waiters were impeccably dressed, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely warm in their approach. We were treated to so many thoughtful compliments from the kitchen, including beautifully presented starters and a delightful dessert — each one a delicious surprise that elevated the whole experience.
The food itself was exceptional, and when you combine that with the setting, the service, and the attention to detail, it easily becomes one of my top dining experiences anywhere in the world. And to top it off, for the quality we received, the value was an absolute steal.
If you’re in Positano, Orama isn’t just a recommendation —...
Read moregood service and views. The food was incredibly disappointing. We had many a delicious meal in positano and this was by far the worst. the portion sizes were tiny and very expensive and the taste was bland. nothing special at all, not even good, just average. we ordered the tuna for 30 euros which was 4 tiny pieces and 2 entrees for 24 euros each which were also very small. for this price you would expect either delicious food or a decent portion size. unfortunately here we received neither. we made our comments known and were told that this was weird. when i further pushed our disappointment i was offered EIGHT euro off the bill. laughable. i would take your money and go to any of the other amazing restaurants in positano! for reference this was the food we ordered and it cost 130 euros! I needed a pizza on...
Read moreEverything about our dining experience was five stars. Firstly, the service - Enrico was excellent. He guided us through the menu, suggested alternates, chose an excellent local wine and then grappe for us and was the consummate true professional. I read other reviews saying the portions were small - we did not find this the case. We had a delicious three sample tartare (the amberjack was delicious), one pasta and one risotto, a main entree and one dessert and we walked away full and content. The views are STUNNING. The viewpoint has to be one of the best as you get the whole coastline south to Positano. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a catered experience that will make for a most...
