Alice Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Rome

Today before heading back home by train we went to this Alice Pizza location located next to Termini station in Rome. The place is mainly a takeaway, but it offers several seats inside in case you decide to stay and enjoy your meal while looking at new pizzas coming out fresh from the oven. We ordered several pizza slices (eggplant, tomato, potato, mortadella and smoked ham and eggplant) and all were great, with quality toppings and a fresh, crunchy and bubbly dough. The amazing staff member even gave us two slices of focaccia free of charge! We enjoyed our time and had time to chat with the girls at the counter who were really friendly and helpful. Prices are extremely fair and value for money. Totally recommend to all pizza lovers. P.s: tanti cari saluti da Lugano, Svizzera....

This place is just across the street from Roma Termini station, and has now become my go-to place for grab-and-go lunches to bring onboard trains at Roma Termini. First of all, there are about a dozen different flat bread flavors, and the prices you pay depend on the weight of the pizza slice you choose; for about a sixth-inch piece of flat bread, it costs about 1 or 2 euros. For a good meal, it costs about 4-7 euros depending on how hungry you are! The ingredients taste very fresh and I’m very surprised to find such a nice spot (not a tourist/traveler scam like you’d expect with places near the train station Roma Termini) so close to the station. the pizza is as good as anywhere else, also meaning not special in any way. That would not be a flaw of this restaurant but the service seriously disappointed me. we arrived at 9:10 pm, the girl at the counter asked us if we wanted to eat there or have it as take away. When we said we would eat there (with badly hurting feet after a long day of walking rome) she told us theyd already started closing - even though there was a man sitting at a table right next to us and they werent even supposed to close before 10pm (and why would she ask us anyway if she planned to throw us out).
