Excellent place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We came here during happy hour to grab some pizza. It is obvious that the chef is passionate about food and loves what he does/makes.

He made recommendations and we ordered a variety of pizza by weigh: Potato w/ rosemary (AMAZING) Zucchini w/ mozzarella (This was okay, a very light pizza) Mushrooms w/ sausage Ham, antichoke, egg etc (This was a signature pizza and would definitely order again)

Overall we ordered 22 euro of pizza (for two people) and it was very very filling. We struggled to finished everything. The chef works very efficiently and it is important to specify how much pizza you want. We were a tad bit slow on two of the pizzas, so got a bit more than we would have liked.

We also ordered a draught beer and a soft drink, bringing the bill to 28 Euro. Honestly, there are perhaps other pizza by weight places that are slightly cheaper, but I will definitely come back again. Their food was very fresh and is definitely reasonably priced by location and in comparison to other restaurants. They also don't charge a cover charge/service charge, which tends to be quite common in Rome.

Highlight: pet friendly, friendly staff, fresh food, English speaking (if required)...

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful little bakery called Roscioli Pietro and we were blown away by the friendly, attentive, and helpful service we received. The staff were all incredibly kind and made sure that we were treated like family and were comfortable and happy throughout our visit.

The pastry selection was absolutely heavenly. I tried the canoli, which was filled with a rich and creamy filling that melted in my mouth. The biscotti were also delicious - crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I also sampled some of their other pastries, including a flaky croissant and nougat both of which were divine.

In addition to the pastries, the coffee was smooth and creamy, making it the perfect accompaniment to our treats. My husband also tried their mortadella and porchetta sandwiches, which were fresh, crunchy, and delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic experience which is why we went there every day we were in Rome and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying...

The best bakery in Rome – hands down!

This place gave me everything I imagined a real Italian bakery should be. The Italian man behind the counter is absolutely wonderful: friendly, smiling, charming, and genuinely helpful. Even though I couldn’t explain exactly what I wanted, he still made me the perfect custom sandwich. The Romanian girl working there is fantastic — quick, kind, and professional, and she helps you because she speaks English really good. The cashier might seem a bit grumpy at first, but honestly she adds authenticity and a bit of rough charm that gives the place its soul. And make this bakery unique.

We had breakfast there every single day, and honestly, I could’ve eaten lunch there too.

Don’t miss the zucchini & white cheese pizza, or the dry beaf meat & parmigano pizza - pair it with a proper Italian cappuccino.

In this bakery, I felt like I lived in Rome — not like a tourist. I felt like they were my neighbors. I really like those guys — and I absolutely loved the bakery. It’s a win-win. It’s a place with a huge heart. Highly, highly...

These luscious little balls of sweet fried dough are one of the most recognizable Italian carnival sweets. 🌰Their name derives from the word castagne, meaning chestnuts, referring to their shape and size rather than the use of real chestnuts in the recipe. 🎭 Carnevale is an Italian word derived from the Latin expressions carnis (meaning meat or flesh; ablative: carne) and "levare" (meaning remove). So "carnevale" means literally "remove meat". It refers to the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, the traditional Christian period of 40 days before Easter, commemorating the 40 days Jesus fasted in the desert, which was a period of abstaining from meat and other pleasures of the flesh. So it was the day to get those last enjoyments in. "Mardi gras" (French for "Fat Tuesday") refers to the same day. Also known as "Shrove Tuesday". 👩🏻‍🍳Running from the beginning of Lent in the Christian calendar, it is still considered to be the period in which all transgressions are allowed -most especially in the culinary realm! 🎭You can track this celebratory festivity back to the Roman Empire. The castagnole may be small, but they are mighty. Small in size, they have a soft, cake-like texture and a lovely aromatic flavor that makes them amazing. 🎭You can find them in all variations, also gluten-free in Rome. I got a couple things at this place - the Limon Sfogliatelle and the Maritozzo Starting with the Sfogliatelle, I very much liked this. The outer layers were crunchy and flaky, but the best part by far was the lemon filling inside. This filling was creamy and tasted like fresh lemon. The only thing I have was the pastry was a bit small, so I would've liked to have eaten more of it, but the actual taste was really good The Maritozzo was fine - but I think it was just too much cream for me. The buns on the outside was pretty good, and the cream itself tasted fine, but it got to a point where the cream was heaped so high that I was eating 90% cream, which wasn't that enjoyable I would rate the Sfogliatelle an 8.5/10, and the Maritozzo a 7/10, for an overall 8/10
