Cento Bistrot — Restaurant in Rome

Very good restaurant and a very good value for money. I can't give it 5 stars because there are better (but more expensive) places. Very nice ambience and service. I understand they opened recently and I think they deserve praise. My wife and daughter really enjoyed their meals. The spaghetti amatriciana was tasty, the carbonara was tasty too, without being overwhelmingly rich and salty. The fresh pasta's texture was pleasant. The guanciale in the carbonara was crispy, even if it was covered in sauce: a very nice texture. My daughter's straccetti di manzo was exceptionally good: very tasty and tender. I'll try to replicate this at home. My wife loved the home made tiramisu. I liked the lemon gelato, but it was not comparable to what you can have in some artisan gelaterias. All in all, a good meal at a decent price, a nice place and a very good service. My humble suggestions to the management would be to get better bread and to lower the music...

My girlfriend and I were walking by as we were looking for somewhere for drinks in the area. We were studying the menu to see if it would be a good place for cocktails, but since it seemed to be primarily a lunch spot (at least at the time we were walking by), we were about to walk away. The owner approached greeted us, and assured us this would be an excellent spot for drinks.

We decided to give it a shot, and upon seeing the full bar and cocktail list (with much lower prices than the bars closer to the Spanish steps), we knew we had made the right choice. Service was excellent, and I got perhaps the best espresso martini I’ve ever had (despite this being an off menu drink). The owner was incredibly kind, and I would definitely stop by again for drinks the next time I’m in the area. Bill for 2 cocktails each...

Cool bakery and breakfast place popular with locals. Prompt service and comfortable for a quick bite by the counter, or sitting down for a relaxing breakfast.

We were craving for an American style breakfast served hot and decide on this place as it’s near our hotel.

Prices are reasonable and food is good. We sat in the inside seating area enjoyed our hot breakfast while watching the locals come and go, getting a quick breakfast.
