Bono Bottega Nostrana - Piazza Di Spagna — Restaurant in Rome

My group of 5 was looking for a quick and light dinner and decided to eat here. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a man asking if we wanted to eat in or takeout. We decided to eat in and he asked us what we wanted to drink and my group just wanted water since we were dehydrated from a long flight and walking all day. The man then became really aggressive asking if we wanted alcohol or soda or even coffee and was extremely pushy and upset when we kept insisting we just wanted water. Then when it came to ordering, my group only wanted to order 4 sandwiches instead of 5 to share because we all just weren’t that hungry. He again became extremely aggressive and started giving us attitude. This made my group and I very unsettled and we really debated leaving but we just wanted something quick to eat so we could go back and rest. Overall the food was fine but the service was absolutely terrible because we were polite yet this man gave us attitude the entire time. I would absolutely not recommend...

We stopped here before heading to the Spanish Steps and so glad we did! We wanted a quick bite but something fulfilling after walking all morning. We were quickly greeted and we chose to sit outside. My husband says the beer was so good! My wine was recommended by the waiter and it was from Umbria and so good! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, The Gladiator, and it was amazing! So much flavor and plenty of meat, just what we needed. We were still hungry so we ordered a second sandwich. We went with the waiters recommendation which with was #50. We wanted to play it safe and make sure it was something we would like. It was okay and kinda boring. I wish I would’ve gone outside the box and ordered something different but overall very good. It is pretty big inside upstairs. You do have to walk inside to pay which did feel a bit tight in the kitchen but also cool to watch the workers banging out the orders. Overall we...

We were two friends ordering separately. It took a long time, and we weren't allowed to wait inside. They had tables and chairs in a stack outside, but they told us they didn't have anywhere for us to sit, so we had to order takeaway. There were two men before us who were lucky enough that they pulled out a table in front of us. When they finally came out with our sandwiches, the men had left, and we sat at that table. They had gotten both of our orders wrong, even though we ordered separately , said the number AND the name of the sandwich +pointed at the menu. When we told the waiter this, he didn't care but told us we had to pay 4 euros for sitting at the table for 3 minutes. A type of service charge for sitting at a table. No apologies for getting the orders wrong or anything. We had to take the sandwich they had made. Worst service we had in all of Rome this...
