The service was terrible. This experience has given me a prejudice against Italians. I was having the best time in Rome, but because of the staff at this place, I never want to come back to Rome again.

The Google rating says it all about their service. With a rating of 2.0, it seems like this place is on the verge of shutting down.

From the start, at the counter where you place your order, the woman taking orders had a frowning expression. However, there was no issue with her taking my order.

The real problem was with the woman making the coffee, whose name was ILARIA D. After I paid, I waited right in front of the barista to hand her my receipt, but she completely ignored it (despite having no other orders) and continued doing other tasks. When I asked her to take my receipt, her expression soured as she reluctantly accepted it and started making my coffee.

I ordered an iced coffee, but when I pointed out that there was no ice in it, ILARIA D. insisted there was. After I told her again that there was no ice, she scraped the bottom of the coffee cup with a spoon, realized there was none, and angrily threw the spoon into the sink, making a loud noise. Her expression toward me was clearly unpleasant.

As other Google reviews mention, the coffee’s taste was overshadowed by the consistently awful service.

Additionally, I saw an American customer in front of me order coffee and cake. The staff couldn’t understand English, so the customer had to repeat their request more than five times. On top of that, three Asians behind me all received the wrong coffee orders.

we ordered €35 worth of food and only received €25 of our order. The food we did get was not done right either. I ordered a Caesar salad and only after paying they gave me the wrong salad and told me they did not have the one I ordered and did not try to replace it with another item. The salad they gave me has olives which I am allergic to, so I lost another €10.50 on top of the other €10. I ordered a fagottino and she gave me a croissant. When I asked for the right food she said “no fagottino left” and walked off. My friend and I ordered two Amita drinks and did not receive either. My friend ordered two toppings on his waffle and received neither. After we tried to ask the lady (Simona) about it she ignored us and went to another customer. The ladies working took so long to acknowledge our order was wrong that we had to leave for our train. We waited even longer in line to ask for bags for our food. Once Simona finally came to us we gave her the plates, she rolled her eyes then shoved our food into the bags. The only item they got right was the pre-made sandwich. The food that could be eaten was mediocre. Do not go here if you want to be on time for your train or want good customer service. I would like a refund for the items not given, but also for the incorrect items. I wish I saw the reviews about this place before I ordered because- even 2 stars...

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. This was my first interaction with Italy after getting a coach from the airport to Rome station. I decided to get a gelato with my wife and we were shocked by how rude the service was. This first experience with the country really impacted how I viewed Italian hospitality the rest of my time in Italy.

We ordered two ice creams and were mocked by the rude waiter when we ordered it. She did not speak English and instead of being helpful and pointing to where we needed to go to collect the ice cream, she laughed and mocked and mimicked us when we asked where the ice cream was as we did not know where to collect it.

We looked beyond it as the ice cream was so nice and decided to come back on our return flight. This time the same lady was at the till but she also served us the ice cream. She was just as rude as the first time and gave us half a cup of ice cream.

There was an Italian person who ordered before us and they were treated completely differently. Seems like they have hired some tourist hating staff in probably one of the most tourist dense locations.
