We stayed at the Marriott hotel across the street, so this was the first place we stopped after checking in. They opened right as we arrived at noon, and a line formed behind us in moments. I hadnāt had gelato since our trip to Austria a year ago and donāt consider myself a gelato connoisseur, but this is my favorite place weāve tried this trip. Most of the others seemed too aerated and touristy with an overwhelming number of flavors, where this is smooth, dense, and straightforward. Their flavors vary from day to day, and they have the best cones, too. The 90% was too dark for meāand Iām a dark chocolate loverābut the 70% was perfect.
