We ordered a several course menu and would rather have ordered just 1 meal and found out the food was not good and left. The mussels were okay. The fried vegetables was more dough than vegetable. We did not try the complimentary bread as is felt very stale and hard. The pasta was not near 'al dente' but undercooked, the 2 bites I took sticked to my teeth like crazy. Couldn't get myself to finish that course. The pasta, beans and clam dish looked and tasted like a microwave meal out of a can. Only ate half of this dish. The salad was a mix straight out the bag on to a plate, no dressing, no tomato or cucumber, no olive oil, not even salt or pepper. Literally a plate with leaves on it. We got balsamico and olive oil on the side. All in all not a good experience and would not recommend to friends or family or anyone else for that matter. I was glad I had a late lunch and was not to hungry going into this meal. In this neighbourhood you can get way better food for half the price even tough this already was a low price for the amount of courses offered.

Didn't think to take pictures untill we were ready to leave. Regret not taking pictures of every course.

This is the first review I have ever written as this was the first meal in my life that was this bad I can not keep it...

One of my all time favorite meals. Ever. I was solo in Rome in early November 2021 and I found this place on Google maps. I did the 35 euro dinner and was blown away. Had a table on the street, perfect for people watching. It started to rain lightly and before I even knew it a large umbrella was in place. Service was silent but perfect, the timing of each dish impeccable. Every course except dessert was seafood, and each was exceptional, from the seafood salad to the mussels and pasta to the oyster and shrimps. By the time the main course came I already felt like I'd gotten my money's worth. And the main course was a stunner! That plate alone was almost worth the 35 euros, IMHO! Easily a $25-30 plate in an American restaurant. The meal included dessert (lemon sorbet) and the menu said it came with a 1/4 liter of wine (about one big glass) but they gave me a whole bottle, no extra charge! And a bottle of still water, also no extra charge. I bought two after dinner drinks (Sambucas) and still got out for right around 50 euro (including tip). Maybe I got lucky because it was right in the middle of COVID, but whatever it was, it was amazing. I feel silly that it took me this long to...

Super disappointing experience on our last night in Rome... I've chosen this restaurant to take my mum for dinner according to Marco Polo's recommendation. Staff barely speak English, extremely rude! didn't understand any of my questions. Ordered fish with potato salad (it was called like this on the menu) The side never arrived, also I had to ask for my mum's fries that has been brought out 10 mins after she got the fish. When I asked where is the potato salad from the plate the waiter had no idea what I'm referring to so I've asked for the manager. He got irritated and just shaked his head! After a lady came to our table and said something in Italian. 5 mins later they brought me fries!!! Never got the potato salad..not to mention that when I asked if there is any beer the waiter mentioned yes, peroni and started to look for it on the menu. I said it's not on it as I've checked already. He had to go in and ask someone how much the beer was. . I would never go back to this place and not recommend to...
