Daruma Sushi - Parlamento — Restaurant in Rome

This used to be one of the best sushi restaurants, I had a fidelity card for years and I still do, but no more. Except for a few items (nigiri) and little more all the sushi they serve is pre-made (not sure if even on location) and has most likely being standing there for hours.

If you do go which I do not recommend anymore pay attention to the people in the kitchen you will see that they are not preparing almost any of the food. just taking it from trays on the back (you can see them on the back right side of the kitchen).

Not sure how you feel about this but with food served in a restaurant I expect the food to be made fresh and at the moment, more than ever with sushi. Naturally with sushi being sushi you can get it in a fridge in a supermarket. but for a place that pretends to be a high quality sushi restaurant (and asks the price for it 30 pieces 50euros), Not a good...

Absolutely horrendous! We made a booking for 9pm and reached the restaurant just 6 mins before our booking. We were waiting at the door for 7 mins only to be told that the couple behind us has been waiting for 30 mins. When I showed our booking, the waitress called what looked like the owner of the restaurant. He came to the door to see my booking and asked me for my name. After showing my booking and given my name, he just replied “1 second” and he never returned. He left us waiting at the door for another 8 mins before we decided that this is clearly not the restaurant for anything.

To the restaurant, if you are incompetent in accepting reservations from Google, my suggestion is to not even have it at all. It only creates unnecessary dissatisfaction on both sides - you and the...

The staff is really nice and the service was fast, unfortunately this was a really bad made sushi... The rice was at parts rock hard and not made well, and in general the flavor was weird specially the teriyaki was just plain weird and not suitable for sushi. I was surprised to see the high ranking here, it’s either they had a really bad sushi man at the kitchen this day or the standards in rome for sushi are wayyyyy below anything.
